I believe that this plot is very heartbreaking. Kahmunrah was loving to him. And Ahkmenrah loved him unconditionally. But then Kahmunrah got jealous and killed him. But even in death Ahkmenrah missed his brother. And he often cried without him. Little did he know that Kahmunrah felt guilty. And so to prevent history from repeating itself, he sacrificed himself to protect him and the tablet.
When I first saw this, the way that I feel he murdered his brother was, he grabbed him in night, ripped him out of bed, and threw him on the floor, with the knife inches away from him, he said "You stole from me, so I shall steal from you." And Ahkmenrah, tears in his eyes, begged his brother to have mercy. "Brother please. Think on what you are doing. Kahmunrah. You're breaking my heart! You're going down a path I cannot follow!" Kahmunrah caresses his brothers cheek, wiping away a stray tear that had fallen from his brown eyes. "You have my love and my forgiveness. But nothing. Can cure. My thirst. For REVENGE!" And Kahmunrah covered his mouth and stabbed Ahkmenrah through the chest. The blade piercing, and breaking, his heart. "Mother! Father! Quick! Come upon! My brother has been murdered." And Ahkmenrah, gasping and choking, glared at his brother and said tearfully, "You monster. I loved you." And his head fell back, his arms went limp, and he was dead. His parents came in, hearing the cry. Kahmunrah held his brother dead in his arms. Glee and malice plain in his eyes. His father saw it. And he locked him in he dungeons. "I am your son!" Kahmunrah bellowed to his father. But his father was unfazed "You are no son of mine." Kahmunrah spent the rest of his 18th year in the dungeons, then he was executed on his birthday.

For the rest of his life, Ka avenged his brother and made wars with the Roman Empire, and eventually became very cruel and bloodthirsty. Kahmunrah was the first In line for the throne but even though he murdered his brother It made him realise that there is good in him he was jealous that’s all yes he wanted the tablet for himself but that does not make him a bad person I see a lot of myself in Kahmunrah he’s not that evil Kahmunrah feels guilty for what he did but now he’s trying to make things right

Well, he was frozen at the night and it means that he was not mummy, just a wax copie of the real Kahmunrah, so I have a headcanon that his mummy can be found at some point and he can come back))
