Panasonic Lumix G9 - FD-M4/3 Adapter for Canon Nifty 50mm

The Panasonic Lumix G9, as with the G7 and most, if not all M4/3 cameras, have an option to use an adaptor to fit other lenses. I can't remember why but I bought this adaptor and lens a few years ago and the total was under $100. Not exactly sure where I'll use it but there was so many great lenses for sale on eBay and for really good prices, I couldn't resist. 😁 As fate would have it, I was playing with this lens when a parakeet decided to sit on our railing and it and I took some pics and a little video using the nifty 50.

I've have a Canon FD camera and assorted lenses that I purchased new decades ago. It's great fun using these old lenses adapted to my Panasonic M43 cameras. I take pictures and make videos strictly for my own pleasure so I can live with the aberrations that I get with this old glass. I must say that I get some really good shots with my Canon lenses, and they have a special "look" with all that glass. HOWEVER, when it counts, I rely on modern lenses made for use on my M43 camera bodies.

Thanks. As you mentioned the shots and video were too dark., considering it is a 1.8 aperture.
