Sometimes I feel like you are me in the future - and that you have already done the work on yourself that I need to do. Especially the asking to help! So thank you for being vulnerable to the channel and sharing.
We have a travel laptop which is much smaller that what we use on the regular. When I go to my office in MI I have to take the larger laptop but for every other trip I take the little one.
I remember the first trip my hubby and I made together. He had two big suitcases, and I had a carryon and my purse. He looked at me like I had lost my mind. ‘Is that all you’re taking?’ The man takes two of everything per day just in case. Like we’re going to be in the middle of nowhere where you can’t buy a pair of socks or a toothbrush if you need one. Mind you, it doesn’t keep him from asking me to keep his sunglasses and other cr@p in my purse. It’s been decades, and he still hasn’t realized he comes home with more clean clothes than laundry.
This was a fun watch for me! I've been debating if I want to carry-on only or check for my solo trip to England in March. If I check I can bring distilled water easily for my cpap (it doesn't absolutely require distilled, but that is the best way to care for it and I'm hearing that distilled water is hard to find overseas and do I really want to spend my limited time trying to find it? I'm also really annoyed that it is not exempt from liquid rules, but I digress) But, that does mean navigating the Heathrow train and getting to my hotel (2 min walk from train station) with a checked bag, a cpap, and a personal item and probably underseat roller to put up top too. Decisions decisions.....
Oh my goodness, I was given that wine advent calendar and am sharing the tastings between three people as it's just too much wine. The Jalapeno one was a bit much for everyone.

The airport trains in Arizona are really a breeze and quite helpful. We live here and utilize them every time we fly out. Safe travels.
Well they are certainly better than the old bus that’s for sure! I’m here multiple times per year and was soooo happy when that went away
