I just purchased a 2nd hand rovan baja to get into the larger 1/5th scale platform. Nitro rc becoming too small and finicky to work on. I'll be doing basic mods and before I actually run it locktite as the car is unknown to me.

Instead of a heat gun try using a soldering iron just hold it on the head of the bolt so your not heat up the whole area
I seen people use that but takes too long to warm up 🤣 Might do for where there's plastic around though. thanks for that

Really 🤣 did think of it but not sure how it would handle.
@@me8u73 mine handles like a champ with lockers on all diffs try it you'll be surprised and no more worrying about the spyder gears messing up.
