I know this video is 4 years old, but I just came across this today. I have a Bachmann GG1 with the Tsunami Value Added Sound. I get all the sounds except for the traction motor ?? Should I do a CV8-8 factory reset or is there a CV that shuts that particular sound off, or a volume thing ??
The factory-installed Sound Value decoder does not have any traction motor sounds. This was a Tsunami2 installed inside this model to upgrade the original sound system to current products, and to get more features. To get the Traction motor sound, you will also need to upgrade to a Tsunami2 or Blunami for Electrics. I wish you would say what brand gg-1 you were using ,,,i have several from different makers ,,i would like to get that for my engines,,,,,thank you,,,Ken
