Need to run a snatch block. The 2500 lb rating is from the first wrap of the spool, so the wire rope completely unwound to get that. Snatch blocks naturally unwind the spool while already doubling the force because its a pulley.
One Safety issue here: NEVER stand inline with the cable. If it snaps (breaks), you may have a Very bad day or worse. Be Sure to give that cable PLENTY of room to fly Past you if it should break. .
I am mounting mine on a flatbed too, but on the top steel rail. But I don't know if I need to do anything with that roller guide thing. It looks like you don't have it installed either, but have something else there. Do you think we don't need it?
That car has to weigh in the 3500 lbs range. pulling up a ramp, maybe a bigger winch or mount the winch a bit higher or less of an angle on your ramps.....
Dude, I’m randomly going through videos cause I’m gonna buy a winch from my trailer and I come across your hairy mug… Without even knowing whose video this is, I’m like, who is this guy I know this face. Then it hit me holy sheep, shit, that’s TRAIL FREAK.!..😆 Anyway, this 2500 is what I’m getting for my trailer

How long can they run without burning up. Thinking about getting one to pull wire in pipe.
Im not sure. I guess would depend on how much load was put on it.
Just tray to have a snack block it will Doble your power
You should of just got a badland zxr 5000 pound winch for pulling cars onto your car trailer
Yea the plan was to get a bigger one. But needed one quick and didnt have the budget for the day. It all worked out though and did the job.
So you are using a winch designed for a small ATV to pull a car? Perfect way to fry it right out of the box
