Anna Calvi is next in the Metropolis Sessions - a new live session series recorded at London’s iconic Metropolis Studios. The series is powered by Sennheiser.
On her latest LP, 'Hunter' Calvi fearlessly confronts heteronormativity and regressive preconceptions with searing lyrics and a formidable electronic spaciness.
A standout from that record is 'Indies or Paradise', a chugging, ultraviolet anthem which brings together the two weapons Calvi has always used most masterfully - her guitar and her voice. In this session, she plays with a drummer and brings the breathtaking power of the song to life.
