What is the red tube going into the sink?
The installation guys just left the tubes like that?
It's for dispersing waste water when it selfs clean
May I know if the water supply is disrupted, it is still can be used or need to wait for the water supply back to normal?

Yes it will, like around 4 cups of 250ml it will drop

almost instant for ambient and cold water. hot water takes around 1~3sec

How about the part replacement during the rental period? I mean example if there is button problem, is lg will replace the parts without charge the customers? I am currently using c***** product and they will provide free parts and service whenever you have problem with your device. And now i am considering to change my filtration system, and I am currently eyeing of LG product but the explaination of LG rep was not convincing me. Design doesnt matter to me. I want to know more about after sales besides self replacing filter things.
Yes they will replace everything within 7 years
Can you comment about the filter capability? Competing with well known brands like cuckoo, nesh, coway.. which already known for good filtering. Because end of the day, the reason for getting one is to hope for better water content. Can LG provide the same/ better filtering capability?
In fact, some Cuckoo and Coway models are OEM by LG, the filtration process + UV on the WD516AN at just RM60/month already beats the Cuckoos and Coways at the same price.
Can I disable the sterilization process totally?
Yes you can do that on the app
Does LG water filter use RO filteration and is it better than cuckoo
No it doesn't use RO filtration, I would say that value wise it is better than Cuckoo's entry-level model.
@@klgadgettvI would like to buy LG water filter but in dilemma between WD516AN and WD517AN. How do you backwash 516. If I request for technician's service for 516, is it worth for this model. I like the nozzle moving up and down but prefer technician service. I need second opinion
