While chatting with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” co-host Lauren Herbert, the fashion icon explained why she returned to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” this season as a friend of and gave a tease on how filming is going so far. Kathy also shared an update on her relationship with sister Kyle Richards and gushed over how wonderful of a mother her daughter Paris Hilton is to her two babies. Plus, Kathy shared all the details about her new jewelry collection with jewelry designer Anna Zuckerman.

I always had a great time on the show...until I had a meltdown because the DJ wouldn't play my song and talked shit about every cast member and got Lisa fired....but nobody's allowed to talk about it because I am the queen of Beverley Hills and everybody's scared of me including Andy Cohen and Bravo #everybodywalkingoneggshells
Crazy part is, she both denied and admitted to the meltdown in the same breath, but Lisa is the one who suffered the blowback from it.
Why is she putting herself through it. Don’t get the appeal. Has everything in life.
As an empty nester, there are only so many restaurants she can go to for steak, lobster, caviar, creme brulee, cocktails, and wine with other bored, wealthy socialites like herself whose husbands do nothing but work. She's done everything under the sun, so she needs something to pass the time.

@@texan903 Kathy can have a wonderful life. Meaning, purpose and passion aren’t derived from fancy restaurants or the conflict and misery of a reality show. Nor are they dependant on another person’s career. The fact Kathy chooses to lie down with dogs is both sad and revealing.
@justathought274 With her children grown, having lives of their own, along with a husband who always works, she doesn't know what to do with her life. She has acted, traveled, socialized, and helped in her husband's business, so I think she feels she no longer has an identity. Yes, she is a grandmother, but her time with the grandkids is infrequent. I feel sorry for her to an extent. Can you imagine having enough money to do whatever you want, yet you've done it all? I think she is having a hard time finding an identity at this stage, and RHOBC fills that void, even if temporarily. Also, she might be there to help Kyle keep her job.
@@texan903 no. My point remains. Meaning, purpose and fulfilment are not to be found in RHOBH. Very sad and true poverty if that is what absolute wealth leaves anyone desiring. Kyle is a multi millionaire with serious issues who needs to be a parent and stop desperately pursuing fame and attention.

I don't know why she puts herself through this stuff. She's got tons of money and is a well respected person in the community....why get down in the gutter with the dogs. Maybe she is helping out Kyle by coming on the show to keep her on there so she don't get fired so her storyline keeps going. ....I don't know.
It's called greed and being desperate for attention
She is a bored, wealthy socialite whose kids have grown up and started families of their own with busy lives. Her husband works all the time and is never home. She has to have something to do.
Kyle has more money than she could ever spend at this point. The show just highlights greed and desperation.
