- Sharing my results & experience with Fraxel dual laser therapy for acne scars. I had 3 fraxel laser treatments done to smooth out the acne scars on my cheeks caused from hormonal cystic acne. I have rolling acne scars and this did improve the texture of my skin along with a good skincare regimen.

Just give before and after pics
We obviously can’t appreciate if you had or not any improvement from the distance you did the “update video”. With that light, seems that your face always have been perfect. So please, if you really want to show up any update, come close to the camera and share pictures with before and after.

I know how you feel; I had acne as a teen and through my twenties until I took Accutane, a derivative of Vitamin A. You only need to take it for a few months and then your acne completely goes away forever. You might want to ask your doctor about it. Your skin and eyes will get very dry, but I used a very greasy moisturizer called Eucerin, which my dermatologist recommended. You will also need to use eye drops. I had some very deep box car type scarring on my cheeks, which were improved with a dermabrasion and microdermabrasions after that. I am still considering a fraxel laser treatment for pigmentation and texture improvement. Nice video.
Fraxel Dual laser resurfacing is NOT the same as CO2 laser resurfacing. One is non-ablative and one is ablative and VERY challenging to heal from. You typically have just 1 CO2 treatment every 3-10 years. Your 2018 video stated you had a series of Fraxel Dual treatments, which is a non-ablative device.
Fraxel does nothing for scars. Even CO2 you need about 3-4 sessions spaced 3-6 months apart but with THAT you will most definetely see an amazing improvement

I’ve tried so many different treatments! I lucky met a great doctor and she said I order to see results I need to get subcision! Something no one else had told me over the yrs! She did not recommend fillers my acne scars were so bad! She did a combination of subsicion and genius lutronic laser and after 3 treatments I saw results that I had never seen in my life!

@@nurarslan4113 I did not because of my skin type CO2 wasn’t a good option for me! After 3 treatments of lutronic laser I did 2 treatments of frasel laser ! This combination gave me great results
Removing acne scars must not be that f...g expensive,fraxel dual is expensive and co2 will be double price of fraxel which i consider to do soon,good luck to you lady.

how long did the redness persist after the treatment ? I got fraxel 7 days ago but still red and pink. It makes me crazy and annoying...

that small of a sunscreen should nooooottt last a whole year, this means your not using enough
We bought it in sept when we went on vacation. It came in a 4pk and we had one left. Lol.
So much yapping but no real info, no before and after pics.

Welcome! I don’t have cystic acne any more but my scars are getting better. They are just really deep and I’m not sure they will ever be completely smoothed out
I also suffer from cystic acne. I had to be on Accutane three different time throughout my adulthood. So I completely understand the frustration.
I also have acne scars and discoloring on my cheeks from it. I think I have tried just about every face wash on the market. The only product that helped my face not only clear up but also with my scarring is called “Murad acne control clarifying cleanser.” I was very scared to try a new product as my skin is extremely sensitive. I have been on this for 2 years now and have been breakout free and my scars and discoloring you can hardly tell. 😊
