Hi! When I get a new bag with vachetta, I let it sit out in a room for 3 days close to a window - that allows it to develop a base patina. After that, I typically don’t take it in the rain until it has gotten a honey color to it. Once it has that, it is conditioned to the weather and doesn’t leave the water spots, if it does get water spots, it will go away. That has been my experience! I hope that helps!
