Dave, this is really good. Oh how I love listening to Ronald Binge. Your narration style is excellent and the content is really informative. Well done mate, thank you.
I don't want to rub salt into the wound (as the translation of a German idom runs, don't know, if it's existing in English), but I'm unable to understand the names of the most places, mentioned in the video. I'm not familiar with the English south coast and it is a foreign language for me. Our boat is in the Netherlands and I definitely would like to go to France and the UK once angain. We have been in Lowestoft and Southwold by boat from Ijmuiden. Unfortunately we soon had to go back to the Netherlands due to forecasted 8 Bft, limited time ot vacation and a way backwards over the open North Sea. With 65 I'm going to finish working by the end of March, so the time problem will be gone.
Lovely to watch as I shall be doing a similar trip myself in our first cruising year after buying our first boat. Just a point that everyone gets wrong, but having lived there for a number of years, its pronounced FOY not fow-ee. If you had taken your dingy ride a little father up river to Golant, there is an amazing hotel restaurant there, wont mention the name but well worth a meal if you have the time.
