- This Devlog is a behind-the-scenes series about the game development process of Kriegsfront Tactics. In this episode, we recapped our development progress so far, from 2018 to 2023.
Kriegsfront Tactics is a procedural turn-based mecha tactics RPG set in the alternate 1970s during an era of conflict in Southeast Asia where you'll play as a commander of a mecha squad sent behind enemy lines. Build your mecha squad, complete missions, and survive the front another day.

Reminds me very much of the old Front Mission games! Since Square refuses to make a new one, I'll be checking this out! Also love the Patlabor footage! 🤣
As far as battle animations, they don't bother me whatsoever. But for the extremely impatient, you could just include a "skip cinematic" option.

Not a fan of the visuals, but overall it still looks decent. Will have to wait for more about the story, characters, exploration and management.

I talk to the guy who made the table top obsidian protocol and now i found your channel and hope to open dialogue with you as you are doing the lords work with this blitzkrieg of a mecha game yoi are the kinda closer era and tactical version of the idea behind Ring of Red. Do you have in as far as this air droppable bomb more or less a net that had grenades woven into the net but do these machines have NBC proof cockpits? The MC-1 is a M117 but filled with sarin nerve gas. M117-R is a demo bomb with the ability to (sorry but using appropriate jargon that is used to describe ideally about ordinance but id never call someone this.)"retard" the the BOLT-117 is used by the United States of America and Indonesia as the first "Laser Guided Bomb". That could be a hell of a weapon in game to have a designator on the mecha say built into a weapon scope or underslung say where a M203 is on a M16A1. Also brothee look into this weapon please and the flash 4 tube rpg but make it so we can use thermo-baric weapons but here is the king shi* of the gun accesories look up this.
The epic Finland under barrel "flame thrower" it's the god tier "Suomi m/31 and Underbarrel Flamethrower".
