#hotrod #ratrod #fast
He got rid of the Hell Cat due to it being scary! I bet a Hell Cat right now would feel like a Kitten in comparison! Imagine him and MWM taking it on the Power Tour next year. THAT would be some awesome content!
Been waiting on this one. Love the old school hotrods. There use to be a guy around here that had a Steel T-Bucket with a 427 Cobra jet in it. He had to put 6 foot wheelie bars on it to keep it from flipping. It was insane! I am sure it is still around Georgia somewhere. Matt.
So happy you enjoyed my package. 📦😀 The yellow T Bucket is great and I can’t wait to hear the story about the Black one! 🖤💛
Now I’m obsessed with the ford roadster t bucket and now the fully built ☝️
NOW WE'RE TALKING!
The cool, interesting cars are the ones that get me watching. Even if you only get a few videos out of them and flip them, they're what keep me around.
You scored with this bucket find.. it looks fabulous 👌
Randy: on those two buckets remember the old adage, that's the equivalent of strapping a V8 in a roller skate. Keep your speed in check and always have enough room between you and the traffic around you to get that thing shut down and stopped, other than that stay cautious have fun and enjoy it 🙃🙃 ..
I would love to have that yellow t bucket as a summer weekend fun car, so awesome
Congratulations on the T bucket. Be careful
I love it. Yes it is a coffin on wheels, yet you arrive at the Pearly Gates backwards and on fire. If I had the money for a pure toy, this would be a contender.
If that's an ATK crate engine u should try amd see if u can find it in a catalog. Maybe you'll find some specs. Dial in that carb and forget about the EFI. U wont have fun tuning EFI units with a cam like that unless u know how to dial in fuel tables on your lap top trust me. Guarantee u play with the timming and adjust that idle and transfer slot and you'll love how it runs
The sound of the T bucket is amazing.
I know the newer one is AWSOME, but the original one is COOL. Please keep the real one.
The yellow T bucket is a beauty.
Hi Randy. I like the way your car sounds. Well Done on this one.
I think I’ll watch this again tonight so I can go to sleep to the sound of that exhaust.
u can't tell for sure that's a 350sbc, it is a sbc, It could be anything 265-400 cid, but most likely, 305/327/350/383cid
327 would be my choice, that or a, 67 Z28 302.
Turning radius is just fine, just hit the gas lol
I would take the yellow one all day long randy they are really. Sweet cars love them
Hey Randy, love the yellow beast.
Does the car have a vacuum brake booster ? If not, that could explain the extra force required to push on the brake pedal, either that or the brake master cylinder is the wrong size
Large cam motors don't make a high vacuum to power the booster. You can and add a extra vac can to help best bet is a dual non power master from a one ton or larger truck
Nothing scary about that. You got a good deal my friend.
ThT car is a Nobster and a beast to
Good Video Randy Always Entertaining With Santa In The Video A Friend Years ago Had A Steel Body T Bucket Until His Grandson Got A Hold Of It He Wrecked it Had A 289 for a motor
Let's shout out Xander! His drawings definitely are not bad...they're BAD TO THE BONE!
I want to encourage Xander to keep making drawings of his favorite UA-camrs' vehicles and send them to those people so they can show off how cool his art is. Let's see if his work can go viral!
Have you ever seen an NHRA Competition Altered division drag car? THOSE are the scariest and most dangerous drag cars ever run. ---- And they LOOK a lot like your yellow go cart. Sub 7 second ET at 200+ MPH 1000 yard time.
Seat belts are not a big deal, but you should seriously think about a 6 point roll cage,,,,on BOTH of them. You hit anything without one and you got no chance at all.
Randy, that sounds like a Beast, and and Absolute Blast to drive. I have a ‘72 Corvette Stingray Small Block 350, which sounds nothing like Yours!
It needs the lug covers and spinners on those welds ....it's already awesome but I've always loved the way welds look with that treatment ..😉
If this is a brand new build on a fiberglass body how did they assign the 1923 year to it?
It's a replica of a 1923 car so they can call it a '23. But the title would depend on your state or location and would likely be an "assembled vehicle", replica, or kit car.
That’s the year speedway gives you on these buckets for the title
@@trbstang I think California puts SPCNS on a build like this. I have seen the title on a few of them.
Beautiful car.Very well built You need to raise up the idle And I think it would run better. A tach would be handy also
Great to see him. I'm a subscriber to his channel
You can fix anything it just takes money and time
I would keep the metal cause fiberglass from what I've heard cracks.
got to do a double flair did not see that part ,, cool looking t ,, from western australia
you should save that yellow t bucket and take it on the 2023 power tour
NO FEAR, Randy
I love the yellow T-bucket!
Would not change a thing on that.
Manual choke needed?
welcome to the world of Oldsmobile power ...
if i was you randy i would take all out off the kit car and put it in to the original t bucket then sale the kit body of just think how much more you would get from the original yes ok it might be a lot of work but think of the profit
That's actually a good idea
Randy you made Santa blush saying that was a sex toy.
Might want to have a roll cage and harness made. Safety?
I'm think that it has 300-350 HP. I am building a 65 ac cobra that weighs about the same. She has 450 hp and its an absolute death trap. Cam sounds to be mild cam. but that carb is probably hurting you if it is a 650CFM
Na.... aluminum heads and a decent lope.. prob split duration. I'd say 400 atleast ... not mild lol. Needs a dialed in 750 and check that timming. Maybe a little more on the idle speed
The black one looks like it has a Olds motor.
It sure does.
Get some better bulbs for your headlights on the Bucket; you need to see where you’re going if you’re to get there safely.
What a mean machine randy
When Randy said he was probably going to sell the T Bucket, Santa's demeanor was like.. ( I don't think so) I drove one like that and never hit the gas, idled in drive, terrified
So glad you got a fun toy to make content for us thanks
The black bucket looks to have a Oldsmobile engine in it. 425 or 455
Off subject but what are the dimensions of your shop building? Three cars fit with plenty room to spare. Thanx
Amazing video randy, hope to see the Chevy citation in the next one, have a danm good day randy.
Michael is a best friend
The radiator on the black car is wrong. It should fit inside the radiator shell.
I'd keep black one. Only because yellow is too perfect and I'd be worried about scratching it up
IT'S WORTH AROUND 15 ON A GOOD DAY AND THAT'S A REAL GOOD DAY
If you know anybody who is interested I have a original g&a automotive from 1960s t bucket pickup body never been mounted on a car sitting in my shop, not at cheep speedway motor job nicebut a solid fiberglass and plywood a nice project for someone who's interested
Hook up the trailer to the RV and take the T bucket to auction in California.
Thanks for the video, Randy.
What kind of kit is the yellow bucket?
A guy I worked with had a 23 t, blown b/ b Chevy, 2 / 4 frs, wheelie bars, no way I would have floored that thing ! It cherpt the tire every time the cam rolled over ! No thanks I'm good !
this is good for teenagers specially is small and fast.
Hey enjoy you show...hope all is well like that your back at it.....by the way wht happened to mwm
Fantastic upload really enjoying this car more like this 👍
need a new bolstered seat in that thing or one day it may pitch you out on your melon. it will I have seen it done to many bucket owners who wouldn't take the time to install rollbar and use 5-point harness's do it now as once you get braver and less scared you may get injured or worse
They paid attention 2 the details
I make brake lines at my job. 😎. Nice video
Thank you
To me they are not a hot rod if they don’t sound like the T bucket my ole hot rod sounds like the bucket it is a 1924 Dodge roadster with a Hemi with 2 x4 ‘s
Engine Sounds like the Munster coach
It will fit
Did you sell the Chevelle ?
Great! Video randy
motor in the black one is a olds
Hi
You did not see if the AC works LOL
I've been good santa
Daily that or at least take it to a walk around filming
What is a "sniper"?
That thing is sick !! I want one !! Lol
Whats the block casting number? If it ends with an '010' that means it is a roller cam block, mostly 4 bolt bottom ends, but not always.. I know a guy in Australia that had an award winning 1923 T show car that had the big swoopy canvas roof with the stays that hooked up to the side of the radiator grille and the 2 part fold-out windscreens and the side lanterns and EVERYTHING Gold plated! Even the transverse front leaf spring beam axle! Why do you need a Sniper when you should know how to tune carbs, theres nothing wrong with the one of it. Young people these days think that they a 'tuner' with a laptop, when they can't even tell you what the intake centreline of their camshaft is.. if you went back to the 70's and tried to tell that to people like 'Grumpy' Jenkins or Bob Glidden racing their Pro Stock cars with 10000rpm smallblocks running Carburettors and POINTS ignition - they would have laughed them down the road.
Putting that engine in the iroc would be a waste of money but a sweet ride
That’s burn out braking front 70 30
And a Holley sniper on it.
It didn't look like he did a double flare to me
Forget about Fiber Glass, we've Graduated to Carbon Fiber ... 🤔
I'd keep the black one or I'd keep both
Dial those brakes to 11 🤣
Awsome car and video👌😎
I hope you didn't sniper efi swap it 🤦♂️
I want it now I'm in love 😍
Looks like a 671 blower
It had no oil pressure after it died...
That motors got a distinct sound I think it's saying power tour 2023
For sure
Brake lines should be double flared. I know Michael is old school but modern safety standards calls for double flares. Looks nice though great bending work that stuff always messes with my head.
True on dat'. Your number 1, first most important part on your car is your brakes. Second is steering. Double flair dem' bitches.
Double flare stops the flare from splitting. Master Cool hydraulic flaring tool is the way to go. Does single double bubble AC. Quick disconnect fuel trans and Oring tubing up to 1/2 in. A little pricey but we'll worth it. I've even have put a swell on tubing so when you clamp the hose it won't slip off
China makes single flair lines.
Lol. That’s the safety issue? “Modern safety standards” call for not driving a T bucket! Have an old survivor. Low weight is free HP!
I'm old school and I've been doing double flares for 60 years, nothing modern about it. Lack of knowledge if you don't double flare brake lines.
Matt @Iron trap garage has built several all metal cars like the black one, in the last five years 😁 he might have nailhead parts too. Thanks for sharing Randy👍
Hello Randy. The 1923 T Bucket is a great car. Even though it's a kit car.
I have a 1960s vintage fiberglass T bucket mounted on a chassis I built. Definitely not a kit car.
Super retro very awesome! I have faith you guys can sort it out
Be safe install a dual master cylinder. Test the e-brake. Cheers!
I'm also building a 23 T bucket. Rebuilding a 351w (408 stroker kit) with C4 auto. 4:11 gears
Somehow this scary car looks really cool. Way too loud for normal folks though. Every Cop here would be writing you up as it sounds insane.😉
That’s the great thing about it it doesn’t have to conform to modern laws it’s a 1923 as registered
They also make baffles for that exhaust that quiets it down quite a bit, if you every decided it's too obnoxious.
I have the same exhaust on my T, with a similar motor set up, and mine isn't nearly as loud.
I wonder what that the bucket was doing at auction
The previous owner and I just got off the phone. I'll have an update video.
You hear about cars referred to as rocket sleds and now we've seen one. That is a car show Queen. Hope it makes it to a Cars and Coffee. Hi Micheal. Good to see you again. Another top quality video, Randy. Thank you.
