Wonderful family. That she didn't go to the hospital for her injuries, so other worse injured could receive help first. Wish the world was filled with more people like her.
We all say “Wish the world was filled with more people like her,” but no one ever says “I need to be more like her.”
How many do not have insurance and will be left, homeless ? sad when the weather is about to change. It is cold already as it warmed up before the tornado hit. A big sign ! It was warm yesterday......
Yes, Bless her & healing prayers for her mom .
Totally Agrees 💯 👌🏾
@@linanicolia1363 America needs to kick in to help those in needs....Trillions goin here and there let the people that been hit the hardest rebuild again in Jesus name Amen 🙏🏾 🙌🏾 👏🏼 👍🏾
This woman has a huge heart. Putting others first. Loving family. RIP to all the souls lost during this storm. Hopefully everyone else will recover fast.
😪💔
She's selfless.
What a kind, considerate woman! What a fine man! So devoted to family❣️ 🙏🏽
Yes thank goodness they listened it would be a different story
Such a selfless woman. 💖
The reporter is tactless, but the family is very nice in spite of the tragedy. The man is epic level gracious.
Okay, I thought it was just me that thought he was brusque.
@@kbf9644 He might have been up all night, which could explain it.
@@rushmore3927 True. Plus probably trying to get to everyone’s stories in that short block. Still, he needs to not pull people and snap at them.
He is a rough old man. How did he get that gig ? We usually see young, happy and pretty people, instead of grumps. I would push his mike off my face if I were these people.....it is like an interrogation, just what they need......They are still in shock. They don't need to be roughed up.
Exactly what I said, The man is in Reporter mode even in a Horrific situation. SHOW SOME HUMAN EMPATHY!
Nothing is of importance but your life. Everything can be replaced. God bless these people and everyone involved in these horrible storms.
Amen

Amen. 🙏🏽
No God only the power of nature.
If there was a loving god then none of this would of happened. Inless his evil of course... oh wait bone cancer in children. You seen the effects of bone cancer.
@TBSG_GOLDBOYX so sick of hearing “Every thing happens for a reason” I have yet to see the reason for life long hurt, pain and struggles!!!! There’s no reason why a person or family who have been raised with respect, morals and character have been driven to exhaustion of being all of those.
I’m glad this family (and little Toto 🐶) survived the storm . Dear God, please bless everyone affected by these tragic circumstances.🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️
This is a beautiful family. I believe that America is full of beautiful families like this throughout our country. Let's stop the division. There are so many good people out here trying to survive through these crazy times. Let's be there for each other.
❤️❤️
Oh I just want to hug this lady & family , even though they are hurt so much kindness & consideration for others ❤️
Such caring people, I feel so awful for them all.
Yeah. Me too
How terrifying. I know there's been at least 50 casualties, I feel so bad for everyone. I'm glad this family made it.
God bless them, I hope they find their cat.
Holy shit 50?!?! Is that for the tornados entire insane 200 mile pathway or just in this place seen in the video?
@@travisp5747 No, it's now at 70 and climbing. They fear it could be much worse. It's pretty awful.
@@kathleenmccrory9883 unbelievable. I can’t even imagine begin to imagine the devastation. These people need help NOW. They don’t need everyone to keep them in their prayers. They need action from our elected leaders this instant. And I hope they’re not left to figure it out themselves
Just watched a video estimating at least 70-100 lives lost in Kentucky alone.

Praying for all of the people effected and their families. So much destruction and so many lives lost in such a way. It's devastating and horrific.
Beautiful family, glad they’re all alive but I feel bad for them, and the mother who was seriously injured. Poor little dog looks so terrified, hope they find their cat.
This is my daughter best friends family...im beyond Thankful they are all alive 😭😭🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@Mary Gettelflower this is devastating ...i am sorry to hear that im glad you're ok🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Taytay Jenkins...Since you know this family...I would like to send this family, a gift for the children for Christmas. I know they need the essentials...but I'd really like to give the children a Christmas gift, it's still Christmas....even through devastation.
If I could get some minimal info...ages...an address they could be sent to...please let me know. I have an email we can co-respond through. Please respond to this comment if this is possible. This is just one family of many I know, but I feel the need to put a smile on their face. Thank you.
Holy crap I can’t even imagine being lifted up by the wind and thrown! And your dog came back! That you all are alive is a miracle. And what an awesome family. To the man that stayed up protecting his family, right on. Mom/grandma’s words wrap around us like loving arms.
@Tony sabroso Yep. It happens.
@Tony sabroso I’m from this county. It derailed a train. It’s absolutely insane
Prayers going out to all who was in the paths of these tornados
You can see the devastation and worry in their eye's 😔 the man who stayed up to "protect his family" is a hero and he should be proud of himself, i took a nap yesterday before the storm front moved in so i could stay up and watch the weather to protect my family as well. I hope all of the victims get the support and help they need to make it through this catastrophe!
Wonderful family. Thank God they all survived including their puppy. I hope they find their cat too. Prayers for all who were not as lucky.
Praying for all my fellow Americans that went thoigh this destruction.
What a caring lady for putting others injuries before hers. Wising for her fast recovery too.
Cats are not as durable as people think, however the cat may be scared and disoriented and not coming out.
I believe he said it to be nice and bring her hope.. you wouldn't Wana tell someone, "that cats probably dead just so you know" that's fucked up
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone that was affected by this utter devastation.
God love y'all...this is some of the best ppl in America
Thank God the little dog is ok
Yeah Thank God he saved a dog but not 50+ people and thousands of homes and businesses which he destroyed.
Keep your Invisible sky ghost to Sunday mornings and the dinner table
ignorant comment coming from
1220b. ppl are perfectly capable of caring about more than one thing. Just because ppl died , doesn’t mean we can’t care about animals that were saved. You are so pathetic & useless
@@1220b SBUT THE FYCJ UP !!!!!!!
I really admire this woman for thinking of others and putting them before herself, just when her mother was injured and her whole home wiped out.
Let's see more of her and other people like her on TV- the selfish and mean people get waaaaay too much air time.
Joe Biden and the First lady should visit, and help out in person. A good thing could come out of this is people put aside politics at Christmas and just co-ordinate help and supplies and services from all over the country to help these people who have lost everything.
Amen 🙏
I'm sorry, but Joe barely can walk.
What a strong woman, very admirable

God bless watching the different races come together, the compassion and it’s beautiful to see!!
Heals me a little bit too. Though I don’t know many folks from Kentucky those I do are wonderful, humble, gracious people.
We don't have the kind of race problem in America that the media wants us to believe. We need to stop focusing on race and start focusing on loving and caring for each other as human beings. That's all that matters.
@@Gitn2it that crossed my mind and thanks for that. I think it’s okay tho that y’all are a model for others. Beyond the news reports some folks experience real racism. Which this has nothing to do with, but if it helps anyone in that way, Kentucky is even more kickass than ever! Me and hubby had planned a vacation in Kentucky in just a few weeks because we love it so much. We’ll have to keep our eye on things because now instead of vacation, we want to help.
What an incredible act by this amazing woman. To consider others who need the limited medical attention is one of the most selfless things I’ve ever heard a person do. God bless you
What a lovely interview. The interviewer is so respectful and compassionate.
My family lives in Cave City where the storm also hit, but thankfully my parents were on vacation (for their anniversary) and none of us were home during this. I take this as a sign of God, but I am praying for all of those who were affected during this storm and I wish the injured a fine recovery and I wish the deceased of the storm made it to heaven, and those who lost said person(s).
Prayers for this family. What a horrific event. The blessing is they are still alive, all things can be replaced in time but the blessing of life is spared. Many prayers for the mother to recover quickly and their cat found safe. So sorry this happened and everything destroyed for so many. Hope they have a safe, warm place to get through this catastrophic mess in their lives.
This is so sad!! I'm sorry for all those who had lost someone.😔
Prayers for everyone affected by this storm.
I was in my semi truck on industrial drive when they hit, sky was so green, so terrifying. I could have been home but I just had to be chasing money, just glad I survived
Truckers ARE the original essential workers! Thank you for bringing me dog food and ammo!
God bless you, Randolph!
Yep green skies are a very worrying sign, means there are severe storms coming in.
She is the type of person I inspire to be. Good job maam!
What a miracle, praise God they are ok. Prayers for her mom and everyone effect by this terrible tornado 🙏
How comes god performs a miracle for this family and not the other 50+.
Oh yeah I know why. There is no God only nature and its random roll of the dice..

Lil puppy, poor guy. They say you hear what sounds like a freight train. I went through a tornado a couple years back and didnt hear crap. It was just like BOOOOOM and it was over. Middle of the night. No warning, nothing.
We got hit this spring in IL. We had a five minute warning. That’s it. Many are saying the same thing from last night. Warnings are coming way too late especially when this thing was on the ground for so long they knew where it was going. A couple minute warning is ridiculous!
Omg how scary
People were on a few live streams screaming tornado on the ground take shelter now, then we started listening to the scanner for warren county because they had almost no warning.
People in those states are so resilient, I’m still wondering how they’re not all crying, they lost their home 😱 I would be so traumatized! I wish y’all all the best, and let’s hope grandma makes it thru too 💓
I was born n raised in central Kentucky. I now live in California and I lived in Ojai during the Thomas fire 🔥 in December 2017. I can tell you the people in California are just as resilient, even tho they aren't quite as close as communities. I was in Lexington during these tornadoes, I came to visit family. Somehow we barely saw a bad storm here.
God bless all of the people that went through this event. My prayers go out to all of you & your loved ones. ❤🙏❤

I feel with the man. I was also up all night watching radar when warnings and possible tornadic cells were miles from me, ready to force my wife and kids into the bathroom lol. Praying for everyone caught in this mess of a storm.
This woman has the right priorities.
Well yes but she knows, they have to care for the more critically injured . They may not have enough people to process the seriously injured. She can get her laceration stitched up later, after she washes it with soap and water. Avoid infection. It is a small town so the hospital is likely overwhelmed.

I have had crazy dreams about being in massive Tornadoes Prayers to the families in the US effected by this massive storm cell.
AND please climate change Politicians don't even think about it these types of severe weather anomalies were happening 300 years ago in the early 1700's when all transportation were GREEN powered , wind powered sail ships , Horseback horse driven vehicles Commercial coal use only began in the mid to late 1700's and we were still getting massive Hurricanes , Storms weather anomalies everywhere 1703 the UK experienced a massive hurricane (the Great Storm) that killed thousands and sunk dozens of ships
What a beautiful family. And amazing neighbor. God bless them.
This is a good reason to keep your tetanus shot current, there’s a lot of pointy sticky things that have to be navigated after one of these events. The worse cut I ever had was from a barn’s tin roof that was hit by a tornado and I fell trying to crawl through the mess.
Read the ingredients in all the vaccines!! You'll never trust ANY of them again!! God gave us an amazing immune system! You are fearfully and wonderfully made!!

@@dawnaper4485 Nut Job
You still need a tetanus in case of an infection from said mishaps that can occur.
I'm glad to hear you survived the tornado. My uncle was planning to haul some rusty metal off his property and my aunt convinced him to take a tetanus shot before doing it. He ended up in a coma and on life support for 3 months after the tetanus shot caused Gullain Barre syndrome. He came out of the coma and has been in a wheel chair for ten years. He's paralyzed from the waste down. Today we have antibiotics to treat tetanus, so there's no need to take a vaccine.
Praying for the tornado’s path. Keep the faith and do not be discouraged! Humble Thanks 🙏
I refreshed 3 times before I realized it's the video not my phone
My dad was at work when this happened and he had a very close chance of being in the tornado and my mom now just decided to tell me about it
I'm in south western Indiana. Was up until 5 am this morning watching the weather so my family could sleep. I received word this morning from my son that his wife's Aunt was killed in this storm. She lived in Bremen, KY. Her house is just gone.My daughter in law talked to her Aunt only an hour before. A neighbor found her in the rubble, still alive. She held her in her arms as she died. My son and his family had plans to go to the Aunt's house for Christmas Eve.
