On an unrelated note, if your sister is up for it and you're willing to feature, it would be so cool to hear her medical journey.. I think you mentioned she did med school in india? How her and her husband met, how it's been balancing work and motherhood for her, and just being a healthcare working during the pandemic! you both are so inspirational in your own ways!!
Krishna is an amazing friend for staying by your side through the scary shots you had to take! and the embryologist just made me realize how AMAZING science is and what you are doing is. thanks for teaching this young south asian woman that taking control of your body is the most powerful thing you can do. 💕

I had the same experience with the birth control pill. I was a hysterical mess - and that's not like me at all. I couldnt do it. Anyways - Good luck on your journey!!!! You will be a fantastic mother someday 💜🙏
Can I say a huge thank you!! I’m a 28 year old female, been with my husband for just about a year...and kids are in our future, but like you timing is not now! I’ve been interested in this process but have known no one that’s gone through it! This just give me so much hope! I've been struggling with infertility for 5 years. Had multiple pregnancy losses and a couple of failed IVF cycles. Going into IVF round 3 next month. Infertility is a very painful journey. Thank you for speaking out about small part of the process.

Quality of eggs also matters. I have gone through ivf twice. First time 16 eggs retrieved and none formed an embryo. I am married and now the proud mother of a 11 month old baby girl. Infertility is a horrible thing. Egg freezing is a good option when you are healthy
are u an angel?? because i have endometeriosis and my doctor suggested me to freeze my eggs.. but i was scared because of the process.. after seeing u im scared but in a good way.. i feel i can do it too... thank u for sharing the journey.. much much much love

Your abdomen has much fewer nerve endings than other sites for injections. Just keep at least 2 inches away from the belly button. I am diabetic and also had my chemo medication injected into my stomach with a needle that is literally the size of a ten penny nail only difference is that the needle is hallow as it makes a tunnel that the medication is injected into it. We used to ice the injection area and alternated sides.
hey this is a really good video. Thanks for doing this. It would be awesome if you can also do a video on the financial aspect of egg freezing. The cost of the entire process and the monthly fee you pay to store your eggs.

I have gone through IVF and egg retrieval is one of the procedures. Shots and after surgery recovery are awful 😞

Being pregnant is no joke. It’s a lot on your body & can be life threatening. But it’s normalised in society. I had my son almost 2 years ago and only over the last 6 months I feel more like myself again. IVF is apparently a lot on your body too. So much going on. Good luck & thanks for sharing this journey. It’s super insightful.

Thank you for being so vulnerable and open. Been following you for a while. I have a rather private question, I'm 30 and single as well and never been on BC. I'm assuming we've never been on it because of the same reason. Not sure if it is the same reason 😂 but if it is, how do you find dating/relationships while trying to wait to have sex until marriage works. Of course if this is not relevant, don't bother reading the rest, I've just found it a world of pain and frustration. Don't want to give up what's true to me and waiting for the right person and a general South Indian cultural way of old school but at the same time..
It makes dating incredibly difficult.
Just to dispel some myths, you don't have to be sexually active to go on the pill. Women take BC for many reasons including to regulate their menstrural cycles and also to control acne.
Maintaining abstinence until you're married or have found the right person to share that experience with is absolutely commendable, and nothing to be ashamed of. I have truly found that if a person respects you, and loves you for you, and not your body, they will have the patience to wait until you're ready. There is no question about it. So don't give up girl. There are good partners out there who will respect you and your wishes.
Am sure she is sexually active only thing is she don’t want to be committed to any body..( acc to her this is not the right time ).. remember in last video while having ultrasound she just said it’s confirmed tht she is not pregnant...!!! Why would any virgin / sexually no active person say tht in front of camera ..!!!

You are one strong women. It takes alot of strength to stand by your decisions in life. Being career oriented, choosing late motherhood through egg freezing and waiting for the right partner. All of these are challenging decisions to be taken as a women in the world we live in. But you have done it soo beautifully and very boldly.
