That was me who submitted the flawless filter!! I agree because so many brands like E.L.F. have created similar products, and while they’re good products the E.L.F. one has more coverage and the lightest shade is just a little warmer than my skin tone. The flawless filter is sheer enough that just makes my natural skin tone look magical!
Hey Allie, I really appreciate how original your video concepts are. You have such unique ideas for your videos. They are so fun to watch. I can literally binge your content for hours, even videos I have seen already. Thanks for this one. Luv you💫❤️
I stopped falling into hype and buying new products because I end up going back to the OGs I know actually work. Challenging myself lately to use the makeup I have and use up some things before I buy anything else
@@nraff414 I told myself at the beginning of the year I wasn’t going to buy new makeup until I used what I have then caught myself trying some new things I ended up not liking. Back to starting over my new year resolution lol
Love to see little baby Glines on the intro! 😍 How fast time really flies and I hope you're enjoying motherhood Allie. You're such a beautiful human inside and out so you deserve all the best in life. Your videos never fail to make my day a lot brighter. I don't use makeup that much but your voice and aura is very calming. More power to the channel and good luck on your future endeavors. 💛 Can't wait for updates regarding your own makeup brand soon. 🤩
Nobody talks about thrive, cosmetics, liquid, lash extension, mascara anymore, but it is absolutely my favorite of all time. I first heard about it from you, Allie.
Omg! I made it into an Allie Glines video!!! Thank you for using the ABH Nouveau palette, Allie. I get so many compliments every time I use it for work. It’s so wearable and I love what you came up with. You made my day! 🥰
The NARS sheer glow foundation… a true thing of beauty. Absolutely love it every time I wear it. And L’Oréal lipsticks. Such a high end feel for half the price. Love your videos ❤
Honestly most of us use products that are discontinued or “expired” daily. If it still performs well (if it’s a liquid then it should still mix together when shaken) and doesn’t have a funky smell then it’s usually still good to use.
Hey Allie! A few others mentioned one of my daily favorites: BareMinerals OG original mineral powder foundation. I use two adjoining shades, one in the original slight sheen formula, one in the matte formula. Amounts of each vary according to my rosacea's mood, but each can stand alone as a light dusting and buffing layer over tinted mineral sunscreen. Love this video, and how you actually listen to and interact with your viewers! There are reasons we remain loyal!
I’m 42 now and I used all of that at one time or another. I used to buy every new product that was “popular” lol. Needless to say, I spent way too much money on makeup (money I didn’t have) Now my Motto is - Just because it’s cute doesn’t mean I need it. 😂😂😂 Great video, Allie! ❤
I recently repurchased the Laura Gellar Baked and Brighten foundation powder. I used to use it years ago and its still awesome! Its amazing what we forget about if we just don't repurchase or hear about online anymore
I’m just as obsessed with my original Jaclyn Hill eyeshadow palette as the day I first bought it. It’s so sad that nobody does tutorials using that palette any more because it’s perfect, it can be used to achieve so many looks from neutrals, colorful and Smokey. It’s so versatile, it’s always my go to eyeshadow palette and I always take it with me when I go on vacation.
The fact that no one does tutorials with that palette anymore may have something to do with her character and other creators might not want to be associated with her. She blatantly lies about being the owner of Jaclyn Cosmetics, she is not. Morphe/Forma owns it.
This made me chuckle! To me, many of these products are still current because I watch so many videos from Allie's archive where they pop up over and over again, and I have purchased some of them. I only follow Allie and two other YTers (professional MUAs I would never have heard of except for her), so I'm clearly out of the loop - but not mad about it!
The MUFE Ultra HD Setting Powder - if you want to look airbrushed, USE THAT! It is an incredible powder that nobody talks about anymore (probably since it came out probably 6-7 years ago) but it is so beautiful and turns your skin into poreless, perfect velvet.
For me, this is definitely the original Bare Minerals powder foundation (I brought it on a vacation that included a wedding and was very happy with it) and the EM Cosmetics Lip Cushions. The EM Cosmetics mascara is also great (and a tubing formula).
I don’t have a lot of money to spend on makeup (especially after spending probably $1000 last year trying/buying makeup for my wedding 😆), so I resist the new releases pretty easily. My favorite product that no one talks about is the Bare Minerals pressed powder foundation. I just like a little bit of coverage to even out my skin tone, and it’s a nice bonus that it takes down the shine on my sunscreen. It works perfectly for me. Their loose powder foundations work well too, but they’re a little messy and require more buffing into the skin to really look nice. The pressed powder foundation couldn’t faster or more convenient. The other product that is a HG for me is the Glossier mascara. But I think no one talks about it anymore because most people really don’t like it! But it’s the only mascara that I like!
I would love a video of a full face of products we LOVE but can’t get anymore!! 😢 There are SO MANY good ones!!!! Why are limited edition products always the best?!
@@fortitudefenix4097right….reminding us of products we used to love but kind of forgot about that are no longer around or showing us ones that we never even knew about but will now know we missed out on! 😂😂 Products I love getting discontinued is always infuriating!! But it seems so many good products get discontinued or, even worse…..REFORMULATED!! 😤 (I’d rather it not be around anymore than still be around but be changed and what was once an amazing product was changed to a crappy one!)
I am so happy for this videos since I’m currently using all my old favorites and Gosh!!!! They are so good still like I don’t wanna put them down. Oldies but still Goodies✨ We had amazing things back in the day too…I mean Coverfx Gripping Primer, MAC Fix+ & Glow Play blush, Hourglass powders, Loreal Voluminous, The Balm Mary lou & ELF Tan lines too…. So good to see you use them the list is long!
Yes, I still use dip brow everyday! (But yes indeed, with a lighter hand than back in the day 😬) I remember I bought that Milani gloss and Velvet Teddy because of you Allie. I need to revisit them because it is a perfect combo 😍💖💕
I will still take the Missha BB cream over any foundation I’ve tried. Also love the Bite Upswing mascara that you can’t buy anymore. I lucked up and found a tube at Ross for $6 and I’m making it last as long as possible. Love the sweet marshmallow feet! ❤
I purchased the original Too Faced Born This Way foundation recently and I'd never tried it until now. That one and the Milani Conceal+ Perfect foundation are all I want to use lately. One of the reasons besides loving those formulas is that both of their lightest shades are actually light enough that I don't have to use white mixer! TF in Cloud and Milani in Alabaster. I like trying products that have been available for years bc they're new to me so I don't think of them as old products.
The Mac Studio Radiance Face and Body Sheer Foundation. It is definitely more of a tinted moisturizer but I am obsessed with it. I also really love the Pur Cosmetics x Raw Beauty Kristi dual eyeshadow palette, it’s just such an amazing palette with a ton of great shades. There are so many things I love but one I feel like isn’t talked about much are the Clarins Comfort Lip Oils, they’re just so nice and juicy. I have mine in 01 Honey and I’m obsessed
Hi! Love the throw backs! What I need is a cool toned vid. I can’t find one anywhere but I gotta say I can’t be the only one who can’t wear warm tones! They just look….almost dirty on my skin. Cool tones work best for me but people only follow the “trends” and not what actually works best on certain people. Any chance you could do some cool tones vids? Would be so grateful!
YESS I love the hoola bronzer and the benefit primer! I've been using my bronzer again and I love it for summer. I've been having to do my makeup pretty quick so I use it as my transition eyeshadow everyday. Or a one and done. Great video💕
Yes! You hit in on the mail within this video!!! I have a collection I love and yes no one talks about too many of them because within months the new have taken over .
Hi Allie ❤, Hope you're keeping well,! Going back to products you never hear people talking about anymore was so much fun to watch. There are a few products that I have that you used which are: the lip combo, porefessional and the bronzer. My absolute holy grail foundation is: Bareminerals Original Powder Foundation. I have tried a couple of other foundations but nothing for me beats that one. Have a lovely weekend 💕!
the "oldest" makeup product i still use is the maybelline colossal mascara. it can do no wrong in my eyes (literally). i love the rare beauty one and have used others that are good, but the maybelline one is easy to find and affordable (not cheap, but under $40).
I love that you are using what you have! You are so right that products keep jumping out! I am trying to use up what I already have. The foundation is the hardest to keep for a long time but things like powder eyeshadow and blush last a long time and if you are concerned about freshness you can lightly spray with alcohol and they are new again. Cute baby feet!☺️
I just used e.l.f. hydrating Camo concealer today. I love MAC lipsticks and I especially love Chili for a wearable, warmer red (although I love the cool bold reds, too, lol). There have been sooo many eyeshadow palettes generated over the years. I still use a couple of Bobbi Brown ones that are discontinued. Shimmering Nudes is a fave.
I have used the Roc Resurfacing cleansing pads for many years and I don't foresee that changing! Also after having gone through so many brow products after losing most of my brow hair from lupus and hypothyroidism I started using the My Two Brows temporary tattoo eyebrows and there will never be anything else for me!
Oh this was fun 😀😆, I’ve got lots of must have holy grail products in my collection and are in my daily routine that I personally don't see getting any attention anymore online Tatcha liquid silk canvas is my holy grail face primer Tatcha silk canvas balm is my holy frail under eye primer Tacha silk powder is my holy grail under eye powder Hourglass veil setting powder is my holy grail tzone setting powder Nars soft matte complete concealer is my holy grail for blemishes/spot concealing Hourglass strobe lighting powders in the shades incandescent and brilliant ( mini size because i don't use a lot of highlighter ) are are my holy grail highlighters for face and inner corners of the eyes Charlotte Tilbury exaggereyes duo eyeliner in black and champagne
I HAD THE HOW T LOOK THE BEST AT EVERYTHING BOX TOO!! back when i was first really getting into makeup. "old" products i use..maybelline age rewind, smashbox primerizer (thanks to kathleen lights for that rec years ago), and the charlotte tilbury flawless filter, ABH clear brow gel every way! i also use makeup geek eyeshadows all the time, even though they are probably expired. i have all these palettes from over the years and im still going to my mug singles every day. if not that its the colourpop stone fox palette.
The Porfessional is my favorite, I always have 2 on hand and having tried many over the years; I come right back to this one….❤️. This and Fenty 150 Pro Filtr’ are amazing for me!!
CoverGirl concealer true blend . Netrogena foundations. I'm such a completion person and easy on the go. For Fall, Always go to Anastasia Rose Quartz. Beautiful ❤️
I love the Anastasia dip brow so much and I will need to repurchase! I've always used a light hand and feather like strokes. It lasts me so much longer than an eye pencil too, like it took 4 years to finish a pot!
I still use Mary Luminizer all the time. Also Hourglass Ambient Light. And I still reach for Velvet Teddy, Mehr and Ruby Woo MAC lipsticks. A lot of this stuff is still pretty new. I was thinking you would go further back, like Norvina palette, which was virtually impossible to get at one point. Or Kat Von D Shade and Light palette.Everyone who could afford it got Marc Jacobs Bronzer. Mascara wise nobody talks about Maybelline Great Lash anymore. It was the only mascara to use back in the day, all the pros used it. Sigma brushes were the ones everyone saved up for. ABH Dip Brow was a great choice! I remember when it first came out, you could only get it in a hair supplies shop and only had 5 colours 😂
Yes I do use some of these products. I know new makeup comes out so often, but, I am on a low buy and using what I already have. Great video. You look very pretty. Enjoy your weekend.👍✔️💛🤎🧡
Lol I just recently started using that same Mac blush. I love it. Do you think that the Hourglass stick foundation would be good for mature and dry skin? Thank you and God bless you and your beautiful family. 👑🙏♥️
First time watching and I thought you started with makeup on already! Shocked when you started applying the products. Subscribed, I need to find your skincare routine
The only foundations I own right now are both from wet n wild, the photo focus dewy one and the tinted hydrator. I wore the tinted hydrator to a wedding this weekend (along with colourpop's going coconuts palette!) and it looked fantastic for nearly ten hours in hot and humid weather! Most of my makeup collection is elf, nyx, or wet n wild, and all of it is drugstore or drugstore priced. I like challenging myself to use only affordable makeup and seeing what I can do without ever stepping into a sephora.
My everyday go-to is Colourpop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer. I'm 50 years old now & have pretty decent skin, so I don't need a lot of coverage. Also, my favorite eyeliner is Colourpop BFF in Grande. Perfect for my brown eyes & fair skin.
I used the elf hydrating concealer and the putty bronzer today. The concealer is for sure a go to for me. I love the bronzer, but I need a darker shade.
I love this throwback! I used to take the vanish stick foundation, and blend it out with It Cosmetics CC cream. I believe that was influenced by Jamie Genevieve 😮
one thing i highly recommend that i see no one talk about besides like one moment showing all the primers in a morgan short, BUT the elf acne poreless primer omg it is so good i break out when i wear makeup for too long but ever since i started using that i don't break out as much anymore and my acne is actually starting to clear up for the first time in years! if you have acne prone skin like me GET IT OMG
I still use Double Wear Foundation or the OLDER version of Tiente Idole, Revlon blushes in several shades(NOT all at once, lol), Benefit Porefessional Hydrating Primer, Hourglass Unlocked Mascara(I think I’m going back to Liquid Lash Extensions in the teal tube)and L’Oréal Color Riche lipsticks in Mica and Organza.
I still use Anastasia brow products, too! Dip brow, pencil, powder, gel, dip brow gel and brow wiz. Such good quality products that are always consistent and last all day. 💯💯
Benefit Hoola for sure and I was late to the party with that one, also some MAC so their Powder foundation is so good and versatile. MAC Myth aswell which is an oldie. Fabulous pressed into the lips . NYX Butter glosses always go back to. All the NAKED palettes including the OG one!
Hi Allie, I continue to use the bare minerals original loose foundation. I've used it for years & just don't really hear it mentioned anymore. I also use the blush & mineral veil powder. Great products... by the way, they all work well on my mature skin... I'll be 66 toward the end of September.
Loved this! I'm still using Benefit Primer & NJC setting powder. Let's see....what else...Colourpop highlight Lunch Money & the California Love eyeshadow palette. KVD tattoo liner. Everything else is fairly "new" 😅 Also those baby feet 🤗🤗🤗
I still use the Hourglass Vanish sticks. They are a little heavy on my skin as I'm getting older but if I'm needing a really polished look, for an event say, it's my go to.
I always enjoy your videos and your makeup always looks so beautiful!! I have used a lot of the makeup you mentioned in this video like the Benefit cosmetics face primer and bronzer and also the mac blush and lipstick! Use them all the time when I'm doing a high end makeup look!! 💄🤗👍
I’m just wondering, did you recently rebuy, or are you using products that you’ve had for a while? I ask because I have some older products that, if they aren’t separated, discolored, or don’t smell off, I hang on to, thinking I might use them. I purge fairly frequently, but lipsticks, for example, if they don’t smell off, can I still use them?
I do the same thing and I haven't had any issues like with pallets and lipstick if they don't smell or look bad. But I always wash it off my face at the end of the day too. I think it would be more of an issue for those with sensitive skin.
I always use the physicians formula butter bronzer’s! The original layered with the Butter coffee late shade is amazing! ( I found a back up at tj maxx!) they also layer very well over cream bronzer’s.
I've been using the Maybelline lasting fix setting powder since I started doing makeup (a few years now), and I LOVE it!! It works soo well for me. Haven't seen anyone talk about it or use it.
What a beautiful look! Also, her cute baby feet reminded me of own when I see my baby photos🥺🥰 Would love to see you do a blue or green eye look using any palette since those were in trend a few years ago!!🩵
I can't tell you how many tube of the elf hydrating camo concealer I've gone through over the years! LOL I have also used Milani baked blush in Luminoso for years (that one still gets mentioned though). I don't own ABH Nouveau, but I do have the Alter Ego palette that was inspired by Nouveau (Midsummer) and love it!

Charlotte Tilbury exaggereyes duo eyeliner in black and champagne
here in the UK we have elf halo glow..collection glow filter ...primark glow foundation/primer.. all alternative to CT
You mentioned my suggestion… i used the pixi milky mist for prepping, during and for setting my makeup… it just great!!! Im a fan of yours!!!
I love this concept! It should be reoccurring ❤
I’ve never abandoned the dipbrow after all these years. It’s true if you use it lightly it looks great. Also getting the right shade is key too!!
Such a cosy and nostalgic video!!! Thank you!!!
Love love love the video idea. It would be awesome if you could do this more often! 😍😍😍
I love the Anastasia dip brow so much and I will need to repurchase! I've always used a light hand and feather like strokes. It lasts me so much longer than an eye pencil too, like it took 4 years to finish a pot!
Benefit Cakeless Concealer has been a staple for 5 years now. LOVE that stuff💓
Yess the Estée Lauder foundation is that product for me! The most long wearing I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried MANY)
I used the elf hydrating concealer and the putty bronzer today.
The ELF brow gel is one I keep using, but I haven't heard anyone mention it lately. I use it in taupe, and it's perfect.
I still use Anastasia brow products, too! Dip brow, pencil, powder, gel, dip brow gel and brow wiz. Such good quality products that are always consistent and last all day. 💯💯
Benefit porefessional is a holy grail for me that I use DAILY! Just picked up one today for 50% off from the Macy’s 10 days of glam sale!
I still use the Kat Von D shade and light eye palette nothing has ever compared or replaced it in my heart its still the best for me.

I use wet and wild pearlescent pink blush, la concealer, coty air spun powder ❤❤❤
Airspun was recently reformulated.
and i do think everyone is forgetting about the huda beauty rose quartz palette, it’s the GOAT.
so many different textures & finishes !!!!
OMG I love the Mary Lou! ❤ One of my favorites 😍 I actually just used Hoola Bronzer a few days ago lol
What a beautiful look! Also, her cute baby feet reminded me of own when I see my baby photos🥺🥰
Would love to see you do a blue or green eye look using any palette since those were in trend a few years ago!!🩵
Love this. Grabbing my Anastasia palette tomorrow!
I loved the benefot primer os.really good amother product is milani hermosa rose ilu!imating powder is the best! Tks
Beautiful. This video was fun😊
