I really appreciate that! I will have a garden tour video coming out soon. I am going to be reviewing a metal raised bed in an upcoming video that I feel is the most reasonable price compared to other more expensive brands. But I tend to always lean towards reusing scraps and materials on hand because gardening shouldn’t be cost prohibitive!
Some people can't afford the metal ones and I really appreciate you showing us how to make them!

When my metal raised beds (cheapo 12’x4’x1’) rust through, I’ll be using a combo of your cedar fence boards and metal roofing to create taller raised beds to accommodate less bending for still less than those big name beds. I wonder how those companies can stay in business because I certainly can’t afford their prices and don’t know many people who can.
That’s a great idea, you would think for the price of them they would not rust at least for a long time?
I have inground raised beds with woodchip paths. Like you, NO free ranging the nearly 3 month old pullets!! I wonder if a 2 ft high raised bed, cedar board or metal style, would be high enough to keep chickens from jumping up into the garden produce.
That’s awesome, and no I don’t think anything would deter them except a net around the entire garden!
