For the most part, a 'Room' setting is largely a modern thing for software Why would you need a room sound when you were likely recording in a room? So for that effect they'd run the voice through a physical plate for reverb or reamp it through an echo chamber” Hope this helps Toffee 🙌

The only thing that is perfectly synchronized is the Linn Drum stuff, because it is, of course, a drum machine. Everything else should be much looser, maybe not even quantized at all. But otherwise, well done!
I’d prefer a little less rushed editing in the video, but the recreation of the song works quite well. And you (and probably everybody else) is forgiven for not having the vocal range of Kate Bush in her top years.

Hey! Acres, just wondering how you got so incredible at production? how did you learn? any specific tips for starting out producers? thank you so much! Right now I'm confused as to what DB everything should be, is there a general rule of thumb? it'd be awesome if you can do a Logic masterclass from 0 all the way to complex, I would PAY for something like that.
I will get onto a production course at some stage for sure! But in the meantime I'll make more UA-cam vids on all these topics! My main advice is just keep on creating. More time spent in the DAW, the better you get. Also huge help is to find people to work with, ideally someone even better than you at production. Shadow them and learn all you can 🙌 It's also more fun hanging out with other like minded people while learning! At the end of the day, the only rule of thumb is do whatever you think sounds the best. That is the most important thing.
