GREAT! Thanks for inviting me to be a part of this 'crazy wild journey with you' called, Acting! Keep up the dammm good work, Girl! Luv the Decor! La Donna Tittle
Wow. That was really something. I actually have had the pleasure of auditioning for Simon Casting (your company) three separate times; twice for fire and once for PD (only once that you were an attendee). Ashamed I didn't book any of them...but that's the business. However, had I seen this video first, I may have been much more comfortable :) This was really a great snippet to share. Shows humanity. Thanks to you, as well as whoever filmed this, for sharing. Awesome clip.
That happened to me Claire at the Steppenwolf back in the 90s when I first started acting I got coached for monologue by Kurt naebig and then I went and performed it but I had a blackout cuz I was so nervous and you and I didn't have enough time to really internalized the monologue because the audition was last minute as usual and I had to learn it last minute and I didn't really have a chance to kind of go into her existence or family the characters how they said walk Talk and of course I forgot everything and then I asked him can I start over in the lady just looked at me and Coldly said no next monologue please ;)
Your audition for the Goodman sounds like my first audition in Chicago for Boho Theatre except I was doing a Trees Grows in Brooklyn. I love your story. Plus you know we're all gonna be giving it up to God tonight :)

Thank you for sharing. It's so expansive to hear your Goodman story. Any reminder that we're not the only one with a face-palm moment is so helpful.
