    What material is the thread you have used? What you suggest once dust or stains stick to them? Redoing definitely needs lots of patience.

      @@ChakrasMusicLab you can normally clean with cologne. If it's too much dirt it's better to redo it.

    This is so cool! Is this really a thread? I am planning to repair my broken earphone wire and I am tired and sick rellying on scatch tapes. Can I use yarn? Am also kinda bit worried because unlike thread, yarns are too fuzzy and roughy over time. I really appriciate the time you consume using the thread!

      I used cotton thread. You can use Yarn, but yes the braid will look bigger and frizzy. Thread takes a long time to finish but worth the effort. 👌🏼

      @@acatwo7767 no they are way smaller. The ones I used is cotton thread which are 0.5 mm. They are slightly bigger.

      I've used 0.5 mm size, Anchor brand cotton thread.
      You can choose any kind of thread and sizes. There will be a difference in the braided design accordingly.

      They will not get harm since it's just like a upper layer. And as we are using tread it's not much of a harm. There is no burning the ends, we use glue so there'll be no harm.
      But when we redo, if you are using a blade to remove it quickly, should be very careful since the cut may go deeper and damage the earphones.

      Multi colour is hard since you need to be cautious about leaving long length threads underneath and securing each colour. But looks beautiful..
      Single colour is easy to work and can finish quickly.

      It depends on the length of your headphone. For the headphone I did here, it took about 1/3 of this thread ball I have used.

      Yes it will. I have braided to a damaged one with cut rubber and it still works well. As long as the wire is safe it'll work well. 👍🏼

      Yes. That's why the braids needs to be close together. If it's more damaged they can use a different size thread which is bigger than this. That works out well.

    Hey i wanted to ask that can I use wool for braiding my earphones, and if I used wool then would it be safe?
    Like people say that we should charge our phone without backcovers so that they won't heat much, so I thought if I cover the whole earphone with wool will there be any problem after sometimes? I know that it's a stupid question but still I don't want to take any chance, 😅

    my headphone cable has a flat shape and so long(more than one meter) so I'm not sure about doing this, but looks really nice. considering doing this to my laptop charger 🐣

      You must continue the braid in the same way. If your change the sides the pattern will go straight.

      For this, it took around 6 to 8 hours to do. If your earphones are short it won't take long to finish. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to do. 🥰😍

      @@prinheart601 thanks dear yes its dam easy but aftr 2 hrs my back broke lol so i took a break il strt again tommo im done with a lil more than 1/4 i have the standard apple earphones..its looking dam good..slelected the same color of thread that uv tAken but the thread is lil thicker since mine were severly damged n i needed a strurdy backup..

      @@Utkarsh_0395 If there is nothing wrong with the earphone's function then it will work. Do be careful when you braid over the damaged part. (Not to pull them so tight)

      No, it can any size. There will be a different in the braid's size that's all. The thread I used here is 5 times smaller than the cord.

      This is a Samsung earphones which is long and it took about 3 hours. But for a iPhone earphones it takes only like 1 1/2 hours.

      Thank you.. Continuously it took 3 hours to finish this Oppo headset. Normally to Apple headsets, it takes only 1.30 hours.

      One way is that you can redo the last knot and remove the knots one by one with a needle. Or you can carefully cut the thread along with a blade..
