This is so cool! Is this really a thread? I am planning to repair my broken earphone wire and I am tired and sick rellying on scatch tapes. Can I use yarn? Am also kinda bit worried because unlike thread, yarns are too fuzzy and roughy over time. I really appriciate the time you consume using the thread!
Thank you so much for the support. ☺ I used cotton thread. You can use Yarn, but yes the braid will look bigger and frizzy. Thread takes a long time to finish but worth the effort. 👌🏼
I've used 0.5 mm size, Anchor brand cotton thread. You can choose any kind of thread and sizes. There will be a difference in the braided design accordingly.

They will not get harm since it's just like a upper layer. And as we are using tread it's not much of a harm. There is no burning the ends, we use glue so there'll be no harm. But when we redo, if you are using a blade to remove it quickly, should be very careful since the cut may go deeper and damage the earphones.
Multi colour is hard since you need to be cautious about leaving long length threads underneath and securing each colour. But looks beautiful.. Single colour is easy to work and can finish quickly.

Yes. That's why the braids needs to be close together. If it's more damaged they can use a different size thread which is bigger than this. That works out well.
@@prinheart601 I was actually talking about the spiral line kinda thing going all the way. Using a bigger thread would make that line even bigger ,wouldn't it? Anyways, thanks for replying to my stupid comments. You are very talented.
