Here is the recipe i made for myself for those interested to know how to make your own:
1 cup wild yam root
1 cup chaste berries
1 cup red clover blossoms
Infuse all this in a jar filled with oil of your choice,for mine i used olive oil,sweet almond oil and castor oil.Let the herbs infuse for minimum 2 weeks.You can then place the infused oil in a bottle with a roller so you can easily roll in on your skin.Or you can use this infused oil to make your own cream,you can search on youtube how to make cream or lotions.Hope this helps

@@umis941 Hi, I don't know if it will help as I've not tried it myself yet. However, from watching Barbara's videos on hormonal imbalance it may help the symptoms. She did a video of placing a small sesame sized amount or so of Celtic salt on the tongue before drinking half a glass of water which it’s supposed to help balance sodium and potassium exchange on the body for better water absorption into the body, do this at least 8 times a day throughout the day with a little half glass of water, which will help with high blood pressure, as well as eating enough potassium from fruits and vegetables and an overall healthy diet low in sugar should help with both high blood pressure and migraines. I think there was a loose string from her scarf, you can see it right after she’s done describing them & right before they move. I really think a string from her scarf moved the 3 bottles.
Anna’s is the only one that worked for me. I’ve been on a three month waiting list for it. I wish I could find one in the US that is as good

@pattyredder7797 I use progesterone cream made from Mexican yams, and you can order it from better health naturally. I've been on it for 2 years and it helps with my pms symptoms. You can find them on UA-cam. It's all about hormones.

@@agibar4950 Sadly so many places that sell and promote it do NOT make that information known clear and widely known and could cause major adverse effects for many by claiming otherwise - or that the cream totally balances ALL hormones.

There have been multiple studies done on how a phytoestrogen does not "increase" estrogen. It can actually also block estrogens, or even just increase certain estrogens that may benefit the body. Also there are so many people who have actual tested hormone levels showing increase progesterone, it's hard to argue.
Vitanics sells biological wild yam powder. It says to take 5 grams per day. I wonder if this would be a good alternative for the cream. Anyone experiences with the powder?

Would you be able to comment on Young Living’s Progressence Plus? A friend of mine had good results using that (along with eliminating toxic bath products, etc) to help regulate her cycle. I was thinking of trying this also and wondered if Barbara had come across that one (it is an oil, not a cream).
Just so that you are aware, the Progressence Plus has USP Progesterone added to it. None of these types of (natural) Wild Yam Creams in this video have a synthetic or "man made" hormone added in. I would say it's a good idea to try one with just the herbs instead of the hormone-added ones. Just to see how that works out first....

I found Yam cream to be extremely helpful for night sweats, unfortunately, it boosts my appetite so much, I simply had to stop. I was hungry all the time, and I do not need the extra weight. So I'll have to find another natural alternative.

Is it possible to overdose on progesterone creams? I've heard from a doctor that taking excess progesterone cream can result in the hormone being stored in fat tissue. Is wild yam cream different than progesterone?
Correct. A (natural) Wild Yam Cream that doesn't have an added progesterone is actually what Barbara is talking about. Some Wild Yam Creams contain progesterone, which in that case they are technically a progesterone cream. Sadly, it's all very confusing.

Do you have creams for women who have had a total hysterectomy. Both uterus and ovaries?
This would still be appropriate for this. We can also give you some suggestions post-hysterectomy.
What about if you had estrogen positive breast cancer? Can you do the yam cream?
Wild yam cream balances out the hormones so one hormone isn't stronger than the other. It's not a hormone cream. Whatever you do, please don't take bio-identical or synthetic hormones! Ever! I highly recommend taking iodine as well daily. Just 2 drops of Lugol's 5% iodine. This is what I take along with an organic wild yam cream. Look into iodine as it's important for ovaries, uterus and especially the breasts. Get an iodine test first to see if you're low (most are).
