I remember this engine! it was in the '23 - T" monogram kit. (or was it limberg??) I built that kit back in the late 90's in full r/c. every thing worked, I even had a working fm radio... I made the mistake of taking it to my local R/C track and racing it. yah, I raced it only once........... SPACTACULAR CRASH!!.. The drivers door to this day hangs on the wall next to my work bench....
I have no idea what I will use it in yet, just had to grab it since it was reasonably priced. Hope you feel better soon brother. Im anxiously awaiting your builds, will have to live vicariously through my own to I suppose haha. One day I will give all metal a shot. My skills just arent there yet.

@RCEveryday I know I'm a few years late but Darkwing on YT used a bicycle inner tube and cut a thin strip for the belt on his engine.
Nice buddy. That motor's sweet. Good score. :)

That motor is from the Lindberg exterminator kit. It’s loosely based off of a ford y-block design. I use that motor often in my 1/8 Scale builds

Super nice!! Will it fit over a motor can? Or would it have to be modded?
It would have to be modded, I dont think it would really hold a motor well.

There are some tools in them yes, most of those toolboxes are coin banks and only have a few drawers than actually open.

This is an old engine from a 1/8 scale model kit. I just happened across it on ebay. Scale motors this size are fairly hard to find anymore.

Hey can you please get a rc4wd timberwolf
I had bought the timberwolf frame for a build a while ago, but it never happened. That type of crawler has never really been my thing.
