They don’t always film scenes in chronological order, so not necessarily last episode with Gus. It would make sense to be the last though.

Don Eladio may be quite happy with the death of Lalo. Lalo was disrupting the business & he was a possible rival to the Don. Don Eladio might have had to have Lalo murdered down the road had Gus not done the deed.

I can see how Gus probably gets wrapped up in episode 609. He negotiates distribution rights with Don Eladio and part of Mikes’s “loose ends” is to get the meth lab construction restarted. Gus is then set up for Breaking Bad. Mike may have a few more things to do on the Jimmy/Kim side. However, scenes aren’t filmed in order so if Giancarlo’s last filmed scene was him staring into Don Eladio’s pool it doesn’t necessarily mark his last appearance. But that would be a fitting end to Gus’s BCS story arc.
As for Kim I still think this episode will mark the end of her regular role and marriage/partnership with Jimmy. She may pop up later but her Albuquerque storyline should be over. I don’t buy into the “silent partner” speculation. Rhea and the producers have described the ending as “gut-wrenching”. Jimmy looks pretty dejected in the photo so that could mean an actual blow up or Jimmy staging something to make her leave. I don’t think she can handle the repercussions of Howard’s death, brutal burial, and the subsequent cover up lie. Jimmy may force her to leave to save her.
I’ve rewatched the series and in season five we see a little of Kim’s background and also her most sharp dark turn. In this season Kim was the one who engineered the scams to take both Kevin and Howard down a peg. In fact Jimmy tried to talk her off the ledge in both cases but, as Mitch McConnell would say, “she persisted”. Kevin and Howard are alike in that neither is fundamentally bad, but both are privileged types who also can be patronizing and sanctimonious. Ditto Rich Schweikart. These men all talk down to Kim and that always seems to set her off. Jimmy never does this and that’s what attracts her so strongly to him. Maybe it’s a father issue. We never hear about Kim’s father - not yet. Safe to say he probably abandoned Kim and her mother. One other thing is that the producers took great care to cast an actress as Kim’s mother who strongly resembles Rhea Seehorn. So maybe this is a projection/ father issue? Maybe addressed in a last Kim-centered cold open? Probably not but I’m just spit-balling. Somehow Kim should be explained at bit more. Would be a hoot if Carol Burnett played Kim’s grandmother - her father’s mother that is.

I bet for some weird reason Don Eladio knows about Lalo and possibly even gave the OK. Considering Gus makes HUGE money and lalo was trying to take away Don's big money guy. It was just the meth lab, it was GUS's brain and distribution genius
That’s possible . . . Surely Eladio knew what a wildcard Lalo was, and that his investigations and machinations north of the order were attracting too much police / legal attention.

I wouldn’t say that Eladio _hates_ Gus, per say. He seems grateful - to whatever extent a ‘greasy bloated pimp’ can feel gratitude - for Gus’ financial offerings, but still regards Gus with suspicion. He also seemed to really like Gus being at the party in _Salud_ and his extension of a truce to Gus seemed genuine.
