This is a day where the Recruits will have a test. And this test requires the Recruits to control their emotions towards the Former Leader Decepticon.
But being the former warlord he is, most recruits went up against him. Except Hot Shot.
Hot Shot had went through a lot too. And so he helped Megatron to never give up. Which also made him pass the test.

Fun fact: One of the guy ( forget his name ) said all of the recruits were born after the war. So Wedge made have been a con during Cyclonus time. Cyclonus was trying to start a neo decepticon empire.
