Love ya'll, Chris Simms is the Man!! But can we once, breakdown the ravens offense and the difference between Lamar's play and Todd Monken's play calling this year compared to last year. Remember last year, Chris mentioned that Todd's offense was better but lacked answers for blitzes. Has that changed this year?
ya when yall start giving him credit for being right about the initial problems/growth areas. he gets labeled a hater til people can reflect when something else is put in front of them
To me Caleb got the Manziel treatment and it’s turning out the same way. He made a few wow plays a game and people took off on how good he actually was. But just like we saw with Manziel he wasn’t the passer or athlete in the nfl that they were in collage.
@@cesco1990 I don’t mean as a person. Even though I do think Caleb doesn’t come off as a dude you’d want as your leader. But like I said his play looks similar. I think they just dropped that he has the worst accuracy past 15 yards that we’ve seen in a decade.
@@e2rqey what strengths? In college his biggest flaw was he held the ball too long and tried to make the big play too often. His biggest issue right now is that he’s holding the ball for too long and he’s the least accurate player we’ve seen on deep passes in a decade
Maybe Caleb should be checking out of those plays. Oh yah he's not very good at per snap reads Chris!! He'll get better (not sure how much but still better) but he has been struggling with per snap reads for most of the season.
No Dante Fowler in under-talked-about defenders? I thought he was a situational pass rusher when he arrived but he's 1st in the NFL in tackles for loss and 3rd in sacks.
i care about it, keep it in. maybe don’t make it one of the first talking points most weeks but he’s an extremely talented rookie quarterback in a league full of them. i wanna see where he stacks up in the nfl game and not just read off stats and box scores to make my opinion
The lack of holding calls against TJ Watt is absolutely insane, the officiating in general has been trash the NFL is quickly ruining their product because of it.
@larzakalazerath6655 don't take my comment as to mean just this past game this has been going on for a season or two, been the same for other top pass rushers too, it's getting ridiculous.
@@cheezits3632 I would agree. so many arm bars around the neck and shoulders are not called at all. I think it's because they want more more scoring. Every new rule is to make it harder to stop teams. They really like these 35 point games. Offense are not that much better then they were in the 80's/90's. I would say not even as good but it's just so easy to put points on the board regularly that even avg. teams score over 25/30 points routinely and 40's are becoming commonplace.
the lack of quality officiating across the league is costing teams games on weekly basis, certainly affecting the outcome much more than it should. tj watt has gotten shafted the hardest in my eyes but it’s not some league agenda against him- or for the chiefs to win. the refs just stink
@NathanRhwmf agreed i only mentioned tj cause it was brought up in the clip, but its happening across the league and not just holding in the trenches bad/missed and inconsistent calls all over the place.
ngl so do you the show could use another personality, like connor rodgers, but ahmed has put his heart into football over the last few years and is a great captain of this ship. it doesn’t have to be one person on with Chris, or at least always the same person- two things can be true
@ he’s a soccer guy. He doesn’t get a single reference to anything pop culture, movie, music. Nothing. He makes Chris laugh and that’s it. Connor has been leaps and bounds better in his few appearances
This is so much better content than the garbage fs1 and espn puts out. Like good god.

They aren't competing for the same demographics. Shows like this are for football fans. Those other shows are for drama queens
bros gonna make the next pod with this post 🔥

The rich risen show is very good too. ESPN and FS1 are sensationalist and cater to a different audience that seeks entertainment over quality content.
Chris Simms weaves grammar and pronunciation mistakes into pure gold. Truly the William Faulkner of football analysis
Chris, I really appreciate your analysis. I completely track with the way you breakdown the NFL.
one of the best out right now. real analysis, doesn't waste my time trying to be entertaining with stupid takes, and playing experience.
The new f-bomb sound effect is gold 😂

🤴 Henry Said Noooooo 😂😂😂😂😂😂
yes it has
i'd like to see that as well, but I'd like to think the improved personal and WR core make blitzing him dangerous if you don't get there
ya when yall start giving him credit for being right about the initial problems/growth areas.
he gets labeled a hater til people can reflect when something else is put in front of them
Henry has been the fixed plus the WRs have stepped up
Those photos of Watt being held are damning.
Both teams were getting held all day, they weren't calling any of it.
It is what it is, would like for them to figure it out, but idk how
The caleb glaze😅
Next episode I'm gonna take a shot every time Chris says "wait" when he's roleplaying the mindset of a player or coach
How fast do I die?

That's going a tad far. Manziel was a junkie. 😂
He made a more than a few wow plays. Currently he's just being used in a way which almost completely negates his strengths.

19:52 they call that man match mr simms 😁
Chris best since Madden.
lmao calm down, Madden coached in the 80s so we dont even know what was going on then. But I do love Chris.
Edit: 70s
I'm out too much to talk about the rookies
Maybe Caleb should be checking out of those plays. Oh yah he's not very good at per snap reads Chris!! He'll get better (not sure how much but still better) but he has been struggling with per snap reads for most of the season.
We need to change the name of the pod to the Chris Sims and Chicago Bears/Caleb Williams Podcast
I'd like to think the 2 sprint out plays were the last straw. Middle School play calling.
I thought there was no chance that Anthony Richardson would be named the starter
To be honest I would say Jayden also struggled vs the Bears. Especially by the 2nd half the Bears started containing his ability to run the ball.
Great show. What is info on his shirt.. it would be nice to let us know what kind of shirt he is wearing.
Indy playing yoyo with QB doesn't work.
Eleader is the new goated
Why wouldn't eliter be correct?
It’s time!
it’s time to play the game, ITS TIME TO PLAYYY THE GAAAAAYYYYYMMEEEEEEEEE
The Colts to start Richardson this week? Why? So the Jets can get an easy win?
No Dante Fowler in under-talked-about defenders? I thought he was a situational pass rusher when he arrived but he's 1st in the NFL in tackles for loss and 3rd in sacks.
Neologisms are a good thing.
Jayden worst game better than most. Maybe I'm glazing but he already proved me wrong.
9:16 = Simmsism 😉
Way too much Bears talk on this podcast this year, no one cares about them and Caleb this much lol
i care about it, keep it in. maybe don’t make it one of the first talking points most weeks but he’s an extremely talented rookie quarterback in a league full of them. i wanna see where he stacks up in the nfl game and not just read off stats and box scores to make my opinion
Chicago is a huge market.
With the updoming games Washington got this. But eagels got talent lets see what u got.
Kombucha for the win
BLUE BOMBER says --- Whatever happens, we have got.. Patrick Mahomes ...
And they have Not!
What is Lamar's record against Pitt? Never won? Hmmmmm
The lack of holding calls against TJ Watt is absolutely insane, the officiating in general has been trash the NFL is quickly ruining their product because of it.
Washington was getting held just as much all game. they weren't calling any of it pretty much all day. Which is why both teams Kept doing it.

~~~DABS AWAY ~~~ GO NINERS ~~ MUCH
It's nauseating listening to this. You say about Jayden Daniels when they just created him out of a play that lost the game what clowns you are.
Ngl.. Amed needs replaced.. 😅
ngl so do you
He's fine as a new casual, but I get what your saying, maybe a little more spice.
