It blows my mind that some people genuinely don't understand that, YES, many, MANY different kinds of acts do the same performance multiple times. Singers perform the same songs in the same way for many years and no one ever complains.

No she isn't. Zerdin was doing it for over a decade before anyone had even heard of Conti. He did it at The Royal Variety Performance on TV three years before Conti's first televised version. There's even a variation from Tonight at the London Palladium in 2000 with Bruce Forsyth as Zerdin's dummy (with Brucie's mask featuring his famously big chin).

Most of his act has jokes from Jeff Dunham and David Strassman. Sadly, David is one of the most underrated ventriloquist in the world.

His vent skills are good. 'M's and 'B's are great. And he 'throws' too (an older vent parlour trick).
But his acting skills need considerable improvement. (In this area, Nina Conti has the edge).
Zerdin will appeal to Old-School vent fans, and will go down well in the States, but Nina has removed the Doll from ventriloquism and replaced it with another 'soul'. Monk is a monkey. Granny is another person. Both the monkey and Granny are both great actors, and Nina enjoys playing out scenes with them. They put words in HER mouth, not the other way round.

Ventriloquism of using people as the puppet, has existed for centuries. They all stole it from the original inventors, by that logic.
Or, it's an artform, and they're applying it to their work.

Or, by your logic and the logic of people who agree with you; every single ventriloquist that has existed-

You should check your facts. Paul Zerdin was doing this routine long before Nina Conti was even doing ventriloquism, let alone the 'human ventriloquist dummy' part. This video alone is from a couple of years before Conti debuted her version on TV. There's a clip on UA-cam of Zerdin doing a variation of this with Bruce Forsyth from 2000 for crying out loud.

paul zerdin may have copied the sound of jeff dunhams peanut but it isnt like he created the sound itself. The term it went over your head has been around a lot longer than most of you been alive. also the human puppet bit. hes been doing it since 97, the other woman who does the bit from everything i can find has only been doing since 2011 2012. i think the longest human puppet bit of ron lucas was more original.

@GTABobby Well you might be surprised but ventriloquism didn't start with Jeff Dunham and it surely didn't end with him, and the technique itself is not something owned and patented by Jeff, so saying that this guy copies Dunham is like me saying that by posting a comment here you copied the guy who also posted a comment before you.
He not only copied Nina Conti, but also Jeff Dunham. Even though he is a good ventriloquist, he still need material that is his alone
