- The NX received a full redesign from Lexus. With the F Sport you get a unique front frill, functional vents, unique wheels and painted wheel arches. On the inside there is a sport 2-tone interior, 14in infotainment screen, and digital gauge cluster. Under the hood is a 2.4L turbocharged inline-4 mated to an 8-speed automatic and power gets to the ground with AWD. Is the 2023 Lexus NX 350 F Sport a better sport SUV to buy than an Acura RDX?

Aside from that stellar-looking blue paint job, the black wheels with the color-keyed fender flares look just right. I'm so glad that they didn't go with the mat-black which is so common on other makes and models. I have to say that I've been really impressed with how this model has positively progressed since its debut a while back. However, I do agree about the odd decision to place that rear window wiper on the bottom rather than tucking it up underneath the spoiler. Frankly, I'd rather see the wiper completely gone as they did with the new RZ.

My goodness! After looking at all of Lexus Vehicle line ups, this NX is a beauty. It’s like Lexus finally finally made the NX look sleek, modern, Sporty and luxury! I just wish it had a 3.5 V6. My only zonks are no visible exhaust tips and Run flat tires! Damn I want one especially in a Caviar or Blue Mica Metallic!! 👌👌🔥🔥🔥💯💯🫡

How do the sound systems compare ? Does the NX have run flats ??
@Ken Frankel I have to check again but I don't believe mine does. I checked the spec sheet and it doesn't show anything. Hope that helps

Toyota and Lexus have a remote start option on vehicles equipped with it through the key fob using a series of key presses. Press the lock button three times in a methodical even pace. If done correctly, the lights will flash a few time along with a corresponding beep different from the door lock beep.
I wanted one of these last year but the 2023 didn't come out when I was shopping. I got an BMW X3 MSport instead because of Joe's review. Might go with a Lexus in the future. Great review Joe!

My favorite thing about a vehicle is always the color of it and this is such a beautiful type of blue. Now about the suv it’s definitely something I like and could see being a big seller.

I have a 2011 Lexus RX350 AWD. Phenomenal Crossover. 170K miles & it’s just as quiet & smooth as 2013 when I purchased. Would love to get a Miata as a second car (5-Speed Manual). The RX for smooth driving & the Miata for ripping around on sunny days. Driving nirvana!

It's certainly the best looking vehicle out of all the competition. Also, remember back in the day when two Cadillacs in the garage was a symbol of wealth and prestige? I feel like Lexus has grown into an alternative brand for that concept.

I purchased the 2022 premium trim model last year after watching your coverage, big fan :). After owning for over a year, I would suggest the F Sport for the 360 cam. The shift pedals are pointless and the app features suck but the ride experience has been fun and comfortable! The pros outweigh the cons. Thank you for another great video!
I bought the 2022 NX350h and I really miss not having the 360 camera but I do love a lot about this vehicle. The lane keeping and centering works great too
You really can't choose a bad car wether you choose Acura or Lexus. Acuara is more sport whereas Lexus is more luxury. We are blessed enough knitpick between the two top japanese giants
Nah. Acuras a better sporty and luxurious suv. The nx is just a bad choice period. There are mainstream cuvs that are better than the nx
@@naveenthemachine how. Honda and Toyota are really similar just Acura fine tunes their sport handling whereas Toyota is more centered around luxury but don't tend to handle as well as Acura

I shopping both vehicles right now. You did a great job in your comparative evaluation of the NX and RDX. Agree, the NX front is more aggressive. Overall, both great Crossovers, but the styling points go to RDX…it’s more refined.

I bought the 2023 NX350 F Sport 3 because there was a serious wait time for the NX450h+. I love this SUV! I did put my order in for the NX450h+ F Sport 3 so I’ll trade the 350 in when it comes. Life is good 😊

It looks like lexus was mostly shifting the design towards the drivers side rather than balancing it out entirely but YES ITS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING, but not a big deal

Almost a perfect car. Lexus violated Raiti's Rule #3: no chrome on the exterior and interior. Any car that has "sport" or "performance" attached to it there should be no chrome, instead I'd use either gloss black, satin black, or just flat black. It helps to maintain the aggressive look. Besides that, a beautiful blue machine!!

I like everything except the red interior but it is a great SUV.
The good news is you can get just simple black.
I’ve been noticing on BMWs and Mercedes doing away with the rear wiper blade all together, unless it’s hidden tucked up underneath but it does look cleaner looking. I don’t know who thought of the rear wiper blade but they don’t put them on cars why put them on SUVs. Now with the federal law saying that all vehicles have to have back up cameras.

I don’t like the blue and red/black seats. If they are going to do red do the whole seat red imo. But in fairness this is how I feel for other vehicles too. Just don’t like the two tone. I love a good red seat. Just not with blue aka Spider-Man version

i have this NX it's fantastic but the tires are gaaaaaarbage for any kind of performance in any way. i gotta change these to a stickier run flat but the choices are slim with the tire size. other than that, car is fantastic! ✌🏻

Right now, I am leaning towards the RDX A-Spec. But, I really want to see what Mazda brings to the table with the new CX 70. Yes, it is a larger vehicle, but they have just the right amount of luxury in their newer models and it comes with a turbo charged in-line six cylinder engine. I hope those start shipping soon or I won’t be able to wait.
I'd like the RDX if they made a Type S version. I'm also def waiting for the CX 70 with the phev version.
I am waiting for cx 70.. will be better being rear bias drive. Also, no manufacture can make their steering feel like Mazda . Another plus is the engine will use use regular . Cost of ownership should be low

The NX just had this redesign. I think it is now superior to the RDX. Before the redesign I would gone with the RDX.
Maybe wait a year or two for Acura to redesign the RDX as well.

@@donaldbanner2185 think the gap has narrowed. And since most lease, as long as you can get a similar monthly payment the residual value is irrelevant. With that said, I didn’t go German. Went with GV70 and so far love it. Genesis has the German feel without all the QA headaches.
