The saddest thing is that not only her mom doesn’t believe in Kaia but the girl wanted to follow her passion and her mom acts like kaia’s part responsible if they lose everything & should be working like this at her age. There’s nothing wrong in helping your parent, but putting the blame on her back that if she doesn’t work and can’t even go to school then she shouldn’t be also trying to do something else or following her passion.
“People like us can’t afford to take chances” the saddest part about that sentence is that how many people feel despite their origin of home, culture and financial situations. Just hope anyone who reads this message can start having more self confident and be stronger

It’s not realistic at all, auditions simply don’t work like that. Every time I watch a Dahr Mann ballet video I cringe so hard because they shot many stereotypical things and make people think that’s how it works. Sorry if this makes no much sense this is not my first language

Don’t get me wrong, his videos are enjoyable, but all of his videos either steal plot lines from movies or TV shows (but with lower production quality and scripts that really need a professional screen writer) or they’re identical plot lines that he’s already shot that he just films over and over again only changing minor details. So it’s great that people get something positive from his videos, because they’re definitely uplifting, but he doesn’t come up with the ideas, he borrows them. So I agree that the Nobel is a bit much.
Thank you Dhar Man for inspiring me with different lessons every day! Failing is a stepping stone to success " We're not just telling stories, we are changing lives."
I absolutely love all of Dhar Mann videos but this one REALLY hit home. The words “Be Realistic” are too familiar. Her mom doesn’t believe in herself to change her own life. That’s why she can’t believe in her daughter’s dream. Parents should let their kids try to reach their dreams not crush them.
I absolutely love this video because it closely resembles my life. Growing up, I did ballet and other dances for years and years and got good and competitive! As I got older, my parents pushed me to become a lawyer and take all of these unnecessary extra curricular which made me quit the thing I loved. Half way through Harvard Law School, my sister and I quit and went straight for dance! It was a tough decision especially since it went against our parents, and we had to pay bills and rent some how, but we persisted and became a professional dancer! At the time, I didn’t feel like I could make it because of things not be able to get done because of it, however, I am so glad I took the risk and this video is inspiring people to take the chances they get!!!
I feel like a newer generation, and the channel has helped me out a lot to never give up, and to live life the best I could by showing us MILLIONS of examples. I would like to say a huge thank you to Dhar Mann for helping me out with life, and I hope you continue to grow best ways possible!
Love the story and point behind it. As a ballerina myself, I can’t help but notice how the actor is not trained. However, I love the work that she obviously put in for this.
“If you have a passion for something, just do it. Don’t be afraid of what other people say and do what you think is good for yourself. On your way, you will always encounter failures, problems and negative people, but in such situations, you must move on and never give up.” - A wise person Thank you for the inspirational video, Dhar! And my warmest congratulations for 16 million subscribers!
I think this video relates to a lot of children, I understand as parents when it’s hard time but that doesn’t mean the children has to suffer too or be forced to help pay bills. I feel like it’s so easy to say what we can and can’t do but if we speak more positivity in our lives we can prosper more. # 1 things is praying..
Thank you for the new upload. It got me to understand to not only keep trying after failing, but also do everything you can and maybe you'll get somewhere in progress. Makes me want to keep doing what I need to do to get better at something if I want to succeed in the end. Kaia showed kindness by offering values to her mom and her instructor, that's what I like about her after she succeeded.
I know right. And the part where she gets into it with Kaia for calling in sick to go to that audition from 12:24 to 13:37 is a lot similar to when Cliff and Clair go off on Vanessa for going to a Wretched concert in Baltimore.
It really is true, you should always do something that you like and enjoy life. I like how the mum wasn’t really against her daughter doing dance, it was really about how expensive the classes and outfits were. It’s a ice change from the parents not supporting their daughters/sons dreams. I can’t believe the daughter bought her mum a house, so sweet!. You should add music to all your future videos, it made it so much more entertaining!.❤️
As a South-Eastern Nigerian girl we were taught as blacks to stick with jobs that were realistic. Although I wanted to be an artist, my parents wanted me to become a doctor. Most Nigerian parents want their children to be lawyers, doctors, engineers ect. but their children often have different occupations in mind. Some parents tell them to be this because they attempted but failed, as a result, they want their kids to do it When I just became 10, I draw drawings that looked like real photos.
I really enjoy the message in the Dhar Mann videos. The biggest hater in my life was my mom. She went as far as turning down scholarships because "those schools are not for you". Always believe in yourself!

One of the best episodes in a while. It shows you TWO messages: 1. Never give up on your dreams, always follow your dreams and it will lead to success. 2. Support your children chasing their dreams and it will pay off.
I have watched the trailer, and I just state that this intends to happen to people a lot these days especially when competing or achieving their dreams, their is always that person who will always try to bring it down. Your parents. However I do understand that the parents are generally trying to be realistic and that people like them would never be able to achieve such goal, no matter the abilities of how good you are. Anyways, thanks Dhar Mann for uploading one of your newest and finest videos

I would like to say a huge thank you to Dhar Mann for helping me out with life, and I hope you continue to grow best ways possible!
never give up! never let down! never run around! and never desert!

Not wrong tho

How is that rude??@@Mrs_bubblegum
Love the story and point behind it. As a ballerina myself, I can’t help but notice how the actor is not trained. However, I love the work that she obviously put in for this.
The actor is a gymnast. She's seemd pretty good for someone who has a clearly different forte.
@@chasityslocum4032 she has a nice jete for sure
@@tybera8211 She definetly does!
I wanted to say the exact same thing, but you said it for me
I’ve only been trained for a little bit but I noticed that too
The way she said "look i know you got a lot on your plate, your work, your mom," cracked me up🤣😂

Why is no one talking about how dhar Mann started putting songs in his videos
@@roseyxd2160 Idk!! I love the songs!
7:40 aw the way they hugged is so cute ♡
Once she started dancing again and the music started again I was like “here we go again”😂
Well, I'm glad mom got her act together! Children need their parents loving support😊
Literally whenever when Dhar Mann posts videos for us he always makes our day or night even better

Some parents tell them to be this because they attempted but failed, as a result, they want their kids to do it
When I just became 10, I draw drawings that looked like real photos.
I can relate and understand what it feels like tbh
Wow… that’s amazing
Just like my daughter!!!!!
I'm 10 and I draw a bit realistically I hope you succeed.
But in some households we are ready to commit to the bit
I really enjoy the message in the Dhar Mann videos. The biggest hater in my life was my mom. She went as far as turning down scholarships because "those schools are not for you". Always believe in yourself!
The look that girl gave her when the teacher said theres no such ting as to late when it comes to following your dreams 17:26
