It's great to see new content for the MV. But guys you're running the wrong version of the firmware, you need to upgrade to 3.54 and you'll have an infinitely more useable machine.
There's a great video on yt where Mike Acosta talks about how Roland screwed up the initial version and he came on board to sort it out.

I don't understand one part, you said after you assign to the first pad you have to record the sample all over again to get the 2nd part? How can i assign the sample throughout all 16 pads ? Ty

is this thing easier to use with the monitor and mouse connected? I have not been able to get very far with this thing at all...

I had to order that vga/mouse card to install in my MV8K from Taiwan. It cost about $119 on eBay. It does work better on a bigger screen and a mouse.

@@danube5605 I know nothing about monitors... just a regular bought from walmart or does it need to be the box type monitor, a crt if I remember?
