9:14 As a Greek who lives in Zakynthos for the past 3 years, Zakynthos and the people who are from this island don't represent at all Greece or the Greeks. Sure, it might represent other touristy islands like Corfu or Rhodes and the people who live from tourism or work in tourism (service sector). Greece has much more to offer, and there are islands and places in the mainland which are so underrated and yet so wonderful. Sure, you won't find a $1300+ hotel or heck $350+ one, but in my opinion your experience over all I think would be better. As for Zakynthos and all the other touristy island like the ones I mentioned above, I personally found them to be dystopic societies to live in, that make me miss the chaos of the Athens. Furthermore, even Zakynthos has nicer places to go and see nature, culture and have fun. The shipwreck beach, it's just one other reason why I still recommend to people to go to Zakynthos at least once.
