Vincent's father was a scientist who worked with Lucrecia studying Chaos, but he died protecting her, so when his son was sent to protect her, she felt guilty and turned him away when he expressed his feelings and went to Hojo. >:( When she got pregnant and Hojo experimented on the child, she got sick, and Vincent tried to stop it, but was shot by Hojo and experimented on. Lucrecia found out and infused him with Chaos to save him.
