Billie don't speak Spanish, she sing in Spanish in this song, but don't know spanish, she learned lyrics phonetically. 😉 Spanish teacher and the own Rosalía helping her for that.
5:25 Since you asked for comment, especially since you brought up your young ones, the attraction of depressive sounding tunes is not to be feel depressed but relief at recognizing the feelings being expressed. That relief comes without the actual cost of going through the hurt.
I understand the cathartic release of emotions. This is a common coping mechanism for sad and hurtful things. But it seems that in this current time, many more young people have feelings of depression, sadness, anger, and loss than ever before. Additionally, these feelings come at an age where they should not even have experienced any catalyst that causes them. I will explore this issue more to get a better understanding of this condition. Thank you for your comment. We truly appreciate it!
@@CAFETIBURON Besides the cathartic release, it's the recognizing of the feelings young women face: tough boys, idiot fathers, patronizing older women, clueless bosses, nonsensical poltics, and so on. Even to get across this message, she has to wrap it in a funny bad guy video. While the men are busy being entertained with her antics, her lyrics are delivering that subdermal shot assuring young women you still are in control, you have the power. That subversion is the attraction our daughters listening to her songs get it but sons and fathers are largely clueless about.
@@vp4744 as a father of a 12 yo, I am seeing it and recognize there is a need for young females to express their feelings outwardly. For centuries, females have been constantly told to remain quiet and “listen to the man”. My commentary is more about that 12 year old age range. At 8, my daughter believed she could be anything, do anything, and express herself in her way. By age 12, everything changed. Perhaps it is the age, perhaps it is the pandemic. But I believe the culture in the schools and the influence it has over them began to transform her thinking. So much to explore here.
Hi, a good reaction. they are two beautiful and talented queens,, I waited a long time for this collaboration in this song destined for a TV series called Euphoria; It has a relaxing, ambient and mysterious atmosphere, the lyrics also contribute to this. I love how their voices harmonize and in the final part Rosalía introduces an harmony in her typical flamenco style.
@@CAFETIBURON Exactly, if you want I can recommend excellent songs by Rosalía, especially: " De Plata - live Sevilla " : ua-cam.com/video/wfuPWAKGjBE/v-deo.html or Si tu supieras compañero; ua-cam.com/video/Wb715jcJR-I/v-deo.html Dí mi nombre in acoustic; ua-cam.com/video/sRph0jV4mO4/v-deo.html She is pure art, talent and magic greetings and enjoy
@@akist8455 Thank you. We will look into these songs. We are going to mix it up a bit and get some other genres into our channel, but we definitely did not, and will not, forget about Rosalia! She is amazing.

Me parece que podían hablar menos en inglés y más en español. La señora que está con el señor habla español. Que se acuerden de que somos más de quinientos millones de hispanohablantes y Rosalía es española. Podemos dejar de verlo, claro.
