Do you know that Arabians are actually fantastic marathon horses compared to most other horses. So honestly I think if they had trouble breathing they wouldn't be highly recommended for marathons.
The Arabian horse is one of the oldest horse breeds, known for its beauty. The beautiful Arabian horse is from Arabia, a long time ago, making it one of the oldest, most beautiful breeds from Arabia.
Arabians usually have dense, strong bone, and good hoof walls. They are especially noted for their endurance, and the superiority of the breed in Endurance riding competition demonstrates that well-bred Arabians are strong, sound horses with superior stamina.
One of the best horses I've ever owned was an Arab/Tennessee Walker cross. He had the Arab build, the Arab coat, the Arab courage & curiosity, but with a TWH's personality, gaits, and tail carriage. His stamina, endurance was unmatched by any other horse we've had, before or since!
When I was a kid, I often visited Arabian horses in a nearby open stable. They looked nothing like the modern show type. It's genuinely scary how people keep on breeding for absurd beauty standards, even though we have so many negative examples of health issues.
@@JG-xi4tu I guess you could say that, but their noses are severely deformed much like a pug’s. They do snort and wheeze quite a lot and they are very uncomfortable most of the time because they can’t breathe well.
There's no whips, no spurs, what do you mean? Cause they are running fast? Have you ever ridden an Arabian? Its usually a struggle to hold them back, they love to run
@@cayj1869 nah, it’s because their balance is terrible. Animals weren’t born to be ridden and usually have certain troubles because of it. You see how in the video the guys are hunched forward, reins tight to their chest, and bouncing all over the saddle? I can almost guarantee you they are having trouble balancing on the horse, and slamming down on their backs like that over and over again can cause back and kidney problems, and in mares can be even more painful due to the horses ovaries. They aren’t being abusive because they’re being mean, but they are being abusive because they’re either uneducated or inexperienced. Some arabians may love to run, but they do not love injuring their spines. And yes I’ve ridden arabians before, mostly when I was younger. I had to stop because I grew and am now over the 25% weight limit for most smaller statured horses like arabians
@@cayj1869 I am an equestrian, yes. From hunt seat and jumping to pole bending and a couple disciplines in between. I agree, a gallop is probably the easiest gait to sit, especially on a horse that rocks you into the saddle. I was saying that the guys in the video are in fact bouncing. If you have good balance it would be no issue to sit a gallop. But if you dont have the proper balance or experience of how to sit it properly, then bouncing is almost a certainty. If your back becomes too tight then you cant rock with the horse, and thats when the pulling on the reins for balance comes in, which can have the opposite affect and pull you out of the saddle further. No hate to you or any equestrian/rider that puts in the work to do their best for them and their horses. Just trying to explain why what the guys in the video are doing could be considered abuse
I don’t think anyone’s going to point out that almost all of the clips in here are either abusive or a clip of a over bred Arabian, so please find better videos for a beautiful breed that aren’t abusive next time.

You can file arabian horses under "biggest pain in the ass to work with or ride" These fuckers are the border collies of the horse world. They were bred for endurance, and they have practically boundless energy. Even a well-mannered one is going to be high-energy and a handful for anyone to work with. Every single one I've ever worked with has nearly brought me to tears of frustration, because unless you specifically want them for their go-go-go attitude, you will spend your ENTIRE ride stopping them from running.
My friend had one and for some reason other horses automatically follow their lead if they decide to bolt. They are mean as a snake too. Hers rammed her into a tree. You couldn’t give me one of those horses they are stubborn, head strong and difficult to work with.
You forgot to mention them being stubborn 😂 my mom had an arabian named Babs and she was the sassiest, most testing, most stubborn horse my mom ever owned!! Still love em though❤
That is the temperament that comes to mind when I think of Arabians. Difficult. Doesn't make them bad but I feel like they need someone who is very experienced or persistent to train them. Very much a hot blood horse.
For those who are saying Arabian horse can't breath properly because of its concaved face .. no they breath properly but, there are an American company specializing in horse breeding managed to crossbred a horse that appears as if it appeared from one of the famous cartoon films. The "strange" horse appears with a "concave" face, nostrils and very large eyes, as if they had just come out of "cartoon movies". The company called the "exotic horse" the "Re Magnum"-copied from an article- , Horses of this strain have difficulty breathing.
Yes, there are only 2 breeds called " hot bloods". The thoroughbred being the other. Others are warm bloods, or cold blood. I own thoroughbreds. Great animals.
I had several Arabian horses. They are quite the athlete. I used to win jumping classes at shows even, against the big thoroughbreds. My little Arab gray, we used to call her bionic legs. She didn’t care how big the other horse were. She wanted to show them how jumping was done and won.
They’re like the pugs of the horse world. The inward curve of their nose means their nasal passages are thinner and air cant get through as easily. They are prone to respiratory issues.
Hey, this is actually just a myth! They have no breathing issues at all. You can find very dishy faced Arabs winning Endurance races of 25 miles or more. The breed absolutely dominates the sport!
None of our Arabians had breathing problems. It depends on the line and what they were bred for. We used ours for cutting and working cattle. We were laughed at....at first....until the quarter horses couldn't keep up with ours. Loved my babies 💖💖
Not really. Horses originated in North America and crossed the ice bridge before it was destroyed. Ice Age megafauna like the lions and dire wolves and short faced bear killed off NA's horses, while Eurasia had no predators large enough to compete. Horses first made their home across the steppes of Siberia/ Mongolia, and kept moving west from there. Arabians are a descendent of those horses, and specialized for the desert, just like horses tamed by the Hittites and later on Europeans are specialized to those regions. This is backed up by the evolution of camels. They too are originally NA from the ice age, died out from the predators, but some crossed and became the camels of today. The ones that stayed migrated south and became llamas, vicuñas, alpaca and so on.

Here’s what it actually is Arabian horse, earliest improved breed of horse, valued for its speed, stamina, beauty, intelligence, and gentleness. The breed’s long history has been obscured by legend, but it had been developed in Arabia by the 7th century CE. The Arabian horse has contributed its qualities to most of the modern breeds of light horses. Arabian horse Arabian horse The Arabian breed is a compact, relatively small horse with a small head, protruding eyes, wide nostrils, marked withers, and a short back. It Arabians are one of the oldest and most beautiful horse breeds in the world. Native to the Arabian Peninsula, they are famous for their unique dished heads, high tail carriage, and remarkable intelligence. Arabians are also one of only three hot-blooded horse breeds in the world, characterized by speed, stamina, and a spirited nature. Over the course of history, Arabian Horses have reached every corner of the world. Due to their beauty and versatility, they have become one of the most popular horse breeds on the planet. Arabians have even made it into Hollywood and were featured in famous movies such as The Black Stallion. Arabian Horses are typically lightweight, with lean muscles and tendons like steel made for endurance. They are relatively small horses, standing only 14.1 to 15.1 hands. Today, the breed is most often used as a show, sport, and pleasure riding horse. The available archeological evidence suggests that the history of Arabian Horses dates back to at least 4,500 years ago. While the breed’s exact origins are obscure, modern Arabians are thought to be the descendants of the ancient “Proto-Arabian”. For thousands of years, Arabians lived among the desert tribes of the Arabia Peninsula. The tribe that originally developed the Arabian Horse breed was the Beduins. They meticulously bred the best horses and treated them as part of their families. Traditionally, the Beduins believed that the Arabian Horse was brought to them by Allah himself. According to this origin story, Allah created the horse from the south wind, exclaiming: “I create thee, Oh Arabian. To thy forelock, I bind Victory in battle. On thy back, I set a rich spoil and a Treasure in thy loins. I establish thee as one of the Glories of the Earth… I give thee flight without wings.” (Source: Natural Horse Planet) The Beduin people maintained a rigorous breeding program to ensure their horses were of the purest breeding. They selectively bred for alertness, speed, and stamina, qualities that were essential in raiding and war. The Beduins regarded Arabians so highly that they even shared their tents with their horses. Yw Horses resembling the typical Arabian appear on numerous inscriptions and rock paintings of the Arabian Peninsula from 3,500 years ago. They were also featured in the artwork of Ancient Egypt dating back to the 16th century BC. These and other pieces of evidence prove that Arabian Horses have been the loyal partners of humans for thousands of years. While the breed has changed little in appearance and temperament over its history, Arabian Horses didn’t remain 100% pure. According to a 2010 study by Iwona Głażewska, the purity of the modern Arabian can only be traced back 200 years. The study suggests that the Arabian Horse, as we know it today, is the result of widespread crossbreeding between various breeds rather than pure bloodlines.
I had a part bred Arab he was crossed with a hanovarian x tb mare and arab stallion. He was so fast and would gallop for miles he had so much stamina and was easily faster than my friend's thoroughbred racehorse. He was eligible for arab racing but i made him be a dressage horse instead! He was also a brilliant jumper. One of the best horses ive ever ridden. He was so responsive.

Every Arabian I have met was an asshole, whether the owners were professionals or not. When I was young my own miniature donkey sold for more than an Arabian at an auction.
Yes they do get that reputation the Arabian they really can be highly strung my old Arabian would Only ever let me handle him any one else that come into his paddock would get chased out lol
Arabians tend to be stubborn and hard to trust but once you take the time for them to trust you they are sweet hearts I own a Arabian cross, she’s a rescue so she’s pretty skittish
They were probably mistreated or not trained properly. Makes any horse "an asshole" if you can when call an animal that without projecting human traits onto them.
Not so fun fact: They can't breathe because of the overbreeding, and the ones that are in the video specially are designed for beauty but NEVER for sprint of any of those that u mentioned. They can only breed though their nose and their nostrils are really squished so they can't breathe and that's really sad. This should be stoped, a Arabian was never supposed to look like that and people just want to ruin it's beautiful speed and agility
Amazing, I always loved the beauty of them and wanted to own one. Sadly my husband passed before that dream came true. But I wouldn't change the time I had with him. ❤
X! The rest of the horse, so beautiful, but the severely dented face is ☠️ can't help it. There are prettier arabians out there, with only a tiny dent. Generally speaking, I love horses, but this is ew to me. Don't like pugs either, for the same reason.
A friend had a super-senior Egyptian-Arabian gelding. He was past his prime when i knew him, and he was uncanny-smart and even mischievous in a wicked sense-of-humor kind of way, and knew how to get his way. I remember if you put his timothy and alfalfa pellets on top of the Dumor Senior Horse feed he'd dump the feed out as of to say _I'm old! I want dessert first!_ Always a sweet temperament and always glad to see me.

The Arabian horse is one of the oldest horse breeds, known for its beauty. The beautiful Arabian horse is from Arabia, a long time ago, making it one of the oldest, most beautiful breeds from Arabia.
شرح بسيط وجميل شكراً لك 🥀
Arabian horses are gorgeous creatures, so spending and dazzling. True beauty, no question about it. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
"Beauty"
They look like seahorses now
My mom had a dream horse that was half Arab half Saddlebred. She won a lot of endurance rides with him, and he was a real sweetheart.
Poor horse can barely breathe because the way humans have bred them ❤😢
Eh, are you thinking about dogs?
@@JG-xi4tuThey mean the horse :( their misshapen nosebridge makes it hard for them to breathe, much like some dogs
@@NOSCE_IPSUM They seem to run quite fine for not beeing able to breathe properly. It can't be that bad.
@@JG-xi4tu I guess you could say that, but their noses are severely deformed much like a pug’s. They do snort and wheeze quite a lot and they are very uncomfortable most of the time because they can’t breathe well.
Another example of how humans only destroy what they touch.
Thank you for uploading this. I love horses. Arabian Horses are incredibly beautiful.
Thank you!
Beautiful collection of fabulous videos of Arabians. I must say every Arab I have had had dark brown eyes.
Arabians are also one of the founding pillars of modern Thoroughbred horses.
THIS IS NO HATE but... The clips of those people riding the horses is very abusive...
@@issnake1109 when you are galloping you don't bounce. I find it easier to balance while galloping then any other gate. Are you an equestrian?
@@issnake1109 Exactly!
These creatures are so majestic and beautiful❣️I love watching them strut and prance ❤
I don’t think anyone’s going to point out that almost all of the clips in here are either abusive or a clip of a over bred Arabian, so please find better videos for a beautiful breed that aren’t abusive next time.
My old quarter horse was half Arabian, best horse I ever owned and sweet tempered and good with kids too. She was originally a bucking bronco too lol.
❤ I read somewhere that all breeds originated with the Arabian..I had 3 and they were my best friends..Love riding fuzzy dynamite... Gorgeous horse flesh!!!!
Not all breeds originated from them but they were crossed into pretty much every warmblood breed, a lot of pony breeds and even some draft breeds
I do not believe that to be true
my favorite breed since I was a kid. They are a dream on four legs.
I love Arabians
I hope to own one someday! They are strikingly beautiful.
His face is a bit weird 😂
LOL XD
They're born with a small dish in their faces but most of the Arabians in this video have extremely dished faces which isn't good for their health :(
@@Versada42 like you said they are born with it so it doesn’t hurt there helth
@@Hannah_Bear_Dude Arabians naturally have a small dished face, but most get over-bred and are born with really over-exaggerated dished faces.

The fact 90% of them are ridden poorly or just straight up bad is so sad, poor horses.
Yes and the fact that they are worked so hard with there muzzle like that causing it to be hard to breathe for them is just so sad 😞
Such beautiful, elegant animals! One of my favorites!! Look at the trot on that foal! Just beautiful!!!❤❤❤
They are absolutely beautiful ❤
Beautiful animals! Truly horses are definitely the noblest, most intelligent and beautiful animals in the entire world!
Subhanallah!
I'll never forget Cass Ole. I still have both Black stallion movies
You can file arabian horses under "biggest pain in the ass to work with or ride"
These fuckers are the border collies of the horse world.
I am glad they are giving the aliens a hard time 😀
My friend had one and for some reason other horses automatically follow their lead if they decide to bolt. They are mean as a snake too. Hers rammed her into a tree. You couldn’t give me one of those horses they are stubborn, head strong and difficult to work with.
Wunderschön 🤩
Ich Liebe Pferde 🐴🥰🌞👏👍🍀🤍🌸
You forgot to mention them being stubborn 😂 my mom had an arabian named Babs and she was the sassiest, most testing, most stubborn horse my mom ever owned!! Still love em though❤
It’s well known trait in this breed. The horseman must be decisive and strict to gain their obedience
I'm surprised it wasn't brought up. I've heard their courage and loyalty is closely related to their overall forcefulness
That is the temperament that comes to mind when I think of Arabians. Difficult. Doesn't make them bad but I feel like they need someone who is very experienced or persistent to train them. Very much a hot blood horse.
A very intelligent and loyal horse.
*From a American Pegasus i respect our fellow Arabian horse friends*
_👏🐴_
What about your Arabian Fellows
they prance around like they think they're better than you
and let's face it, they probably are.
The Arabian Horse known with his unique character, and intelligent. he has hot blood ❤
Yes, there are only 2 breeds called " hot bloods". The thoroughbred being the other. Others are warm bloods, or cold blood.
I own thoroughbreds. Great animals.
One of the most beautiful horses in the world! I had a colt with one crystal eye like the one you showed. Unique
The Arabian Horse can never go wrong!👌😍🐴
Most beautiful and strong horses ❤❤❤❤❤
i’m literally about to go brush some and spend time with them!
الخيل العربي الاصيل🇸🇦🇸🇦
GORGEOUS horses! 🐎💕
The red one looks absolutely stunning! Can only imagine how it shines on the desert sands
Those tiny noses and wild tails. They are hot blooded, and high-strung ❤
Awww, you forgot what Arabians do best. Unrivaled in their endurance ability
Ew why are there multiple clips of people abusing them?
Thank you for showing. Indeed they are unique.
I believe that Arabian horses are the mother breed
👏🏻
The Black Stallion. The movie that first showed me how incredible these creatures could be.
So beautiful and majestic ❤
All horses are beautiful when they are cared for.
The animal version of a ballerina
OMG 😱 SUCH BEAUTY.
And my 100% Arabian horse looks like a cow 🥲
I love them . My previous arabian was almost 33 when she passed. Still mis her

ITS THE HORSE FROM RED DEAD
Here’s what it actually is
Arabian horse, earliest improved breed of horse, valued for its speed, stamina, beauty, intelligence, and gentleness. The breed’s long history has been obscured by legend, but it had been developed in Arabia by the 7th century CE. The Arabian horse has contributed its qualities to most of the modern breeds of light horses.
Arabian horse
Arabian horse
The Arabian breed is a compact, relatively small horse with a small head, protruding eyes, wide nostrils, marked withers, and a short back. It
Arabians are one of the oldest and most beautiful horse breeds in the world.
According to this origin story, Allah created the horse from the south wind, exclaiming:
“I create thee, Oh Arabian. To thy forelock, I bind Victory in battle. On thy back, I set a rich spoil and a Treasure in thy loins. I establish thee as one of the Glories of the Earth… I give thee flight without wings.” (Source: Natural Horse Planet)
The Beduin people maintained a rigorous breeding program to ensure their horses were of the purest breeding. They selectively bred for alertness, speed, and stamina, qualities that were essential in raiding and war. The Beduins regarded Arabians so highly that they even shared their tents with their horses.
Yw
Horses resembling the typical Arabian appear on numerous inscriptions and rock paintings of the Arabian Peninsula from 3,500 years ago.
The also are the easiest to abuse like you see in the video of the then galloping on the Arabian
Responsive as hell!! With lose rein, lead. Put them in unskilled hands & they fight like most of the commenters suggest that theirs did.

I love Arabian horses! They are my favorite.
Arabian horses have always been beautiful until they started breeding to be ugly with dish noses which interfers with their breathing

Fun fact, they never get phisically tired. They stop doing stuff just because they get bored
Thank you so much for the comment!! ❤️
Not so fun fact: They can't breathe because of the overbreeding, and the ones that are in the video specially are designed for beauty but NEVER for sprint of any of those that u mentioned. They can only breed though their nose and their nostrils are really squished so they can't breathe and that's really sad.
I want dessert first!_
Always a sweet temperament and always glad to see me.
