Birds Make Me Happy shirts :)
Hi Lesley! I love your videos so much I learn a lot about my favorite birds! I love blue Jays so much I live between Port Huron and Detroit and I feel the birds and squirrels daily. I find the blue Jays really live Walnuts and sunflower seeds what did you say they like the most? Also can I feed them live super worms?
One of the most informative and beautiful channels on youtube.
Happy video.
EXQUISITE! Thank you. Breathtaking. If bluejays were rare people would travel long-distances to marvel at their beauty. But because they are fairly common they're so unappreciated.
👋😄 Hi Lesley!
👏What beautiful shots👏
The second blue jay in the first shot, looks like an angel!
Your passion for birding is such an inspiration for me. Since I found your channel, I started watching my backyard birds ~ they bring me so much peace and joy.
Thank you for sharing your passion! 💞💞💞💞
A world without birds does not bear contemplating
Beautiful Lesley! Thank you!
What an absolute treasure.....thank you! Brings tears of appreciation and the wonder
Excellent !
All those moments will be lost in time. Like tears in rain...
Always happy to see a new Bird Nerd video. Never disappointed! Beautiful!
I love how they look at you first before they pick up the peanut from your hand. As if to say "thank you" before they fly off 😊😍
Amazing Les, thanks so much.Beautiful.
Abslument magnifique, merci Lesley ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Poetry in Motion - so beautiful.
The Slo Motion gives us the chance to see all of their blinks, twists and turns and markings clearly.
When they are motionless, one can see thought and sometimes emotion in their eyes.
Thanks Lesley!👍 - Stephanie
Such an amazing and peaceful video! Thanks !
Aloha Ms Lesley,
I can’t express myself properly here, but you’re work has become cinematography rather than video, watching on a 60” monitor is breathtaking, it’s humbling and I appreciate it very much, mahalo nui.
Thank you Lesley.
You really have a gift Lesley. I've so been enjoying the videos.
Tremendous video, perfect music to accompany it. They have such power and grace in their landings and taking flight. Thanks for sharing!
I love watching the nuthatch blinking in slow motion at around 5:24 in your video. Great work Lesley!
That was gorgeous!
OH MY GOSH LESLEY, THIS VIDEO WAS AMAZING!!! My wife and I both got goosebumps watching the opening shots of the Bluejays. The colors and the cinematography were OUTSTANDING! Thanks much!
The perpetude and endeavor to mine eyes adept alas how strong my will I still wept.
Durok Subaka/what is that from, thxs!
Chuck Iringtwice / My own thank you. I was so moved by the moment. I watched it through three times. How glorious. Lesley really shows her talent.
Fantastic images thank you
Absolutely wonderful!!
I think this is probably the best one I have seen from your whole series. Of course there is nobody else that does anything as good as you do. Thanks for sharing
I always felt, to get the trust of birds you need a very kind heart.
👍🤚Yes please Leslie would ❤️more slow motion videos. Take care 💕
Beautifully done.
So beautiful and soothing. Excellent editing Lesley!
I loved watching those Blue Jays come swooping in at slow motion, resembling a small hawk or falcon coming in on its prey.
That Canada Jay must love you. It's acting like the way cats rub on people and leaving scents on objects.
One thing I really do find true about the Canada Jay, is it resembles an over-sized chickadee.
Hi again Lesley, so lovely, peaceful, & calming! Watching this in preparation for sleep tonight, it was just what I needed to see! The music so appropriate & so beautifully done! Hope you decide to do more of these in the future! 👍💖🐦
That's very relaxing, thanks very much
Wow, this is so gorgeous Lesley!!! Nice song 😉 😁💕❤️💕
That is so beautiful...love your videos
Beautiful!
Very calming video! The background music helps to relax the mind. Impressive videography as well
Thank you for your channel. My blue Jays are the most spoiled birds in my little village. Three are named. One that was stunned from flying into another suet cage is an across the street family member that was allowed to spend the winter with my established blue Jays. Pretty sure that on of last years clutch has taken a shine to her. I call him Rebel.
As spring breaks here in Western New York I watch the four males from last years clutch flirt with the visiting Jays.
Thanks to your shared knowledge the Jays in my village are accepted by all. Aka no kids bugging them
very, very nice!! thank you!
Magnificent!
Amazing, beautiful, nicely done. Really enjoyed that, thanks,!!
Just discovered your channel for the first time love the slow mo video very well done and most enjoyable 🤗🤗🤗 L.L.&P🖖🖖🖖
Wow, so cool
Awesome
That is so gelid!
We should be aware that all this beauty and all this life is gravely endangered.
I'm surprised, Lesley, that you haven't been more outspoken about "climate change" (unless, of course, you have and I've missed it). Birds are among my favorite living creatures, too.
Very cool stuff Nerd, I noticed for the past several weeks I have a blue jay coming to the feeder alone, it also looks small . Any thoughts? 👍👍👍😃
I am more interested in your camera settings, frame rate, shutter speed, post processing to achieve these results. Can you enlighten us?
Beautiful 💛💛 can anyone ID the bird at 2:43 for me though? I don't recognize it and now I gotta know
What kind of bird is that big grey one on your hand with black around his eye?!
That is a lovely Gray jay(Canada Jay)
I just came across your channel and watched a few videos and will come back for more. I haven't done any song bird videos but I do have a hummingbird banding video you might enjoy and would appreciate any feedback.
Who's the one person that disliked this video? A cat?
MEN!!! GOOD NEWS!!! GOD FORGIVES SINNERS!!! JESUS SAVES!!! 📢
There is a promise of Eternal life and forgiveness of ALL previously committed sins in JESUS CHRIST the SON of GOD. It is witnessed and recorded that "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) AND "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame." (Romans 10:9-11) REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL, BE RECONCILED TO GOD. "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." (JOHN 3:18)
Thanks Lesley! This video brings so much calm to my mind!
First robin came home today.
Lesley, thank you for this gorgeous Birthday special
Sweet dreams are made of this (quicksilver)
a true meditative MASTERPEACE 🦉🦅🦆🐤🐦🕊🦆 😃 ☮
My favorite was the Nuthatch at 3:21. So much agility walking on a vertical surface. I was surprised it doesn't flap to go upwards, just a strong jump. You wouldn't notice small details like that without the slow motion. Thanks for sharing!
Leslie, Did God send you to earth so you could do this marvelous filming of his creation so we all could have a blessed pause in these crazy times? If so, he picked just the right soul to do this incredible work. YOU ARE AMAZING LESLIE! and Thank You for your great service for all of us! Your best one yet! and I love all your video's..
On a very bad day, this video reminded me of the beauty and joy around me. Thank you.
You are The Bird Whisperer! Blu Jays in flight are just beautiful, as are all the others of course!
Sorry, I don't do Facebook or Twitter. But I do share links🐥
Pretty cool that they land on your arm and hand. I didn't know Blue Jays like shelled peanuts. Will leave some out for them from now on. I normally just save them for the squirrels.
Great video. As an exercise I tried to name each bird as they were featured. Not the botanical name but the names you gave them in your cast of bird characters. Wasn’t really successful but it was fun.
Birds are the best animals.
Oh my goodness this is so awesome and beautiful!
Stunning Arial artistry. Can really tell how comfortable the Gray Jay is with you the way he turns his back to you. The back views of the second blue jay is gorgeous.
Calming clip. Loved your high frame shooting and post processing, slow motion effect. Which camera is this?
Very nice.
I was a very beautiful video. I've only seen the side profile of our Blue Jays in New Hampshire when they are in flight what were those other birds were there Chickadees? Very cool thank you for sharing it with us. 👍😊😍
I saw jays, chickadees, and nuthatches.
There was an odd grey almost pied looking bird that i wasnt so sure on.
Maybe it was a grey jay she put in one of the prior vids. Never took a close enough look to be sure tho
@@o.osuq-madiq2008 Cool. Thank you for the info 👍. You have a good night
Blue Jays, Grey Jay (aka Canada Jay), Red-Breasted Nuthatches, a Boreal and Black-capped Chickadees.
@@annawils9015 good morning. That's cool. We have some of those Birds here in New Hampshire. I just don't think we have the Grey Jay. Thank you for the info. You have a good day 😊
I imagine this is real-time for these birds.
Ahhh. Thanks Leslie. This was a lovely thing to come home to after a long day at work. Wonderful way to unwind. Stunning and charming birds!
Flashes of indigo, mauve, ebony and white all the while surrounded by gently falling ice crystals. Mesmerizing and magical.
💕😚💕 Alli
Exactly my thoughts!
Unquestionably moved.
Couldn't turn my eyes.
So beautiful, the trust displayed.
I truly did not want it to end. I miss alpine!
oh Lesley.
your art has been clearly on display before. the poetry in your narration, your striving for art in the camera work, and the attention to the music you use. however, this is something altogether more. this is art, madam.
it would not be so much were it not capturing and sharing your deep, quiet, and intimate love of your avian friends and your tender love of this world of nature, but there it is. it is a gift of love, Lesley, and we all hunger for these gifts.
thank you my dear friend.
thank you for this sweet gift.
Great slow motion ,doesn't your arm get tired?😀
Beautiful
Beautiful, simply beautiful. I could watch this for hours. Thank you Leslie
Very beautiful I love watching the birds and you can tell in their eyes they are intelligent. Thank you for sharing their beauty :D
I love watching birds and even these videos are so calming and beautiful to watch! I even watch these before bed lol . Definitely helps with anxiety!
This video is amazing and captivating! Thank you thank you thank you! Which of your Jay's at the 2:08 mark? I'd venture a guess but probably get it wrong. Hermosa?
Beautiful
I put some joy division on and watched it.
Lol. Thx Leslie. Thx a trillion
This is the most exquisite video on UA-cam!! It should get an award!!!
My new favorite youtube channel...just what I needed, thank you!
Just beautiful! It gives me a chance to see the details of each one's special beauty that might move to quickly for my eyes at normal speed. Thank you! A feast for the eyes as well as wonderfully educational
Leslie can you tell us what you use to capture these awesome videos? Thanks!
Beautiful hues of blue 👏😄👌
I am in awe of your relationship with your birds. So beautiful to watch! ❤️
Your videos are very enjoyable and relaxing!!!
I can’t believe bluebirds have an average lifespan of 18 years. Absolutely amazing 😉.
Wow...that was simply amazing. Your photography skills are first rate, as are your production skills. It is amazing to see how much we miss in real time with these beautiful birds...in slow motion so much more is going on...they make the exceedingly difficult look simple. Great work! ☺
Beaitiful video.thanks for sharing
What a great idea to post a slow-mo of my fave birds, Bluejays! Great music too Lesley!
