This was my lease deal after paying the deposit:
A quad motor variant, MSRP of $89,000, from $896/mo on the website with $1800($0 down payment) due at signing, came out to be $1,016/mo with $5477 due at signing(including the $1000 deposit).
The numbers on the website are wrong and misleading.
And also, you don't know what the residual value is until you pay the deposit. Oh, and they sold me a 2023 truck for that price(Again, didn't know until I paid the deposit and started the process) in March of 2024.
I canceled the purchase and had to dispute the deposit charge on my credit card.
I bought a used 2022 fully loaded R1T for $63,500 cash and I'm very happy with the truck. Rivian has been very shady when it comes to these lease deals.

Trying to lease right now and it’s tough getting someone there in sales to even close with. Great car but painful process.

That’s a shame to hear. You’d think their process would be seamless at this point!

question, Will I BE ABLE TO CONFIGURE A R1S and lease it . I already gave them the 3000 down payment for the Quad motor coming out. Can please get your input?

Does it still make sense to lease of the plan is to buy also? Not sure how much of the lease payment goes towards the actual principle.

How does this calculation work with a Trade-In vehicle?

Can you keep the $7500 EV lease credit if after 2-3 months into lease, you decide to buyout the lease and finance.. Is that an option?

You keep saying $0 down but the calculation includes 6k down didn’t it?

I would lease one but i live in Oklahoma and they don't offer leases on Rivians in this backwards state.

In Oklahoma also. Rivian hasn't exactly been transparent about the leasing process. I’ll be passing and buying outright when the right opportunity comes along.

Do you know what happens in a lease if Rivian goes away before your lease ends?

    • @RaviWadan

That's a great question that I don't have a specific answer to. But my guess would be that there are consumer protections in place to make sure you don't get screwed over. Hope that helps!

@@RaviWadan yeah those new twin turbo six's are just awesome. So awesome that Toyota is replacing ALL of them. Going to be one of the largest recalls in history.

Rivan like Tesla are desperate to dump EVs that nobody wants. Lucid is even cheaper. See a trend?
