Here are some details about Otumfuo Osei Tutu ii's acceptance of the invitation to attend the Oguaa Fetu Festival ¹ ² ³:
The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has been invited to attend the Oguaa Fetu Festival of the Oguaa Traditional Council in the Central Region.
The invitation was extended by the Paramount Chief of the Area, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, through a high-powered delegation on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
The festival will be observed in the first week of September and will mark its 60th Anniversary and the 25th enstoolment anniversary celebration of the Paramount Chief of Oguaa.
The festival will run from September 1 to 7 and Osabarima Kwesi Atta invites Otumfuo as the Guest of Honour for the event.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has accepted the invitation and will attend the festival as the Guest of Honour.
