How To Replace Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G Screen | VERY EASY WAY

- Hi, welcome back to my channel. Today in this video I am going to replace a broken screen on #Samsung #Galaxy #S20Ultra. Samsung kept the same design the way of replacing the screen like other galaxy s series like s8,s9.s10, … etc. So that's mean you have to remove every single component from the housing to the new housing, which comes built-in with the new replacement screen.
As a result, this repair would take a bit of time and concentrate step by step task but much Easier and clean repair task.
The highlighted task is Below (DEAF GUIDANCE )
1. Remove the battery back cover. (keep in a clean place, as the back cover comes with a built-in camera lens on it.
2. Unscrew all the screws that you could see.
3. Disconnect all flex connector include the battery connector first, now remove the metal and plastic all shield along with the NFC coil.
4. Now gently remove the Mainboard. (DO NOT TOUCH ON THE CAMERA, IF YOU TOUCH IT MIGHT BE LEFT YOUR FINGER MARK AS A RESULT PICTURE QUALITY WILL BE EFFECTED.)
5. Remove the charging board, but don't forget to remove a screw in there first.
6. Now this is the time to remove the charging connector along with flex.
7. Now take out the vibrator which has strong glue underneath.
8. Finally, remove the battery, which has strong glue under the battery. (check how I did)
NOW REVERSE BACK WHAT YOU DID AS THE VIDEO TUTORIAL GUIDANCE AND HOPE YOU WOULD DO IT SUCCESSFULLY.

Yikes this may be simple but I can see how someone can easily mess up their phone with a slight mistake I would rather pay a pro to do this instead great teardown 👍

Bought Note 20 Ultra and put a thick fat case, but it still cracked when it fell down accidentally on the driveway while getting into car from less than 2 feet height. Samsung site lists replacement screen cost at $269, which is preposterous. The curved screen is the cause for the cracked screen on Samsung Galaxy phones. I had gone with Apple after my Samsung S7 Edge had a similar experience and I paid $200 extra to replace that screen. I am probably never going to buy another Samsung again after this experience. Good video to salvage the damage done.

My Note 20 Ultra screen has vertical lines. It was one green line first, now there is 5 green line and 1 pink line. I already purchased another phone, but I want to get into this repair practice. Very helpful video. For the green line issue, assuming I need to change the screen? I think I will change the battery also.

I am experiencing this problem also! I dropped it, slight crack at bottom of screen but no biggie, but will only accept stylus touch now.. no fingers.. I think something has come loose inside most likley!

I have a Note 20 Ultra 5G. The touch screen no longer works when using your finger but the pen still works. I have changed the sensitivity and tried reset as has been suggested but the problem persists. Do I need to replace the screen or is there anything else I should look at? hello - i have this issue, the screen is black, but i can use the phone when plugged into a HDMI, using DEX with a keyboard and mouse, the strange thing is, i can still use the touch screen on the front, and the engineer mode shows i that all the touch sensor is working the front camera and speaker and all things are working but no display. is there a fix to this or is it a complete assembly replacement?

However, before you left the phone at the repair shop, did you show them that your camera was functional or not? If you did, then they should double-check if there is something missing, either lose connection or faulty camera flex. However, type *#0*# and test the camera.

Yes, they're aware the camera was working. It was also in a different city while travelling so basically impossible to take it back there now. I'll call them to see what can be done, if anything from afar. Huge thanks for your timely response!
Hello dear how much did you replaced?
Most of the spare displays sold on Ebay, Aliexpress etc, are sold without the front camera.
The shop knew that you would not open the phone and saved loads by putting in the cheaper replacement, that did not have a front camera.

Basics mate, basics.. Use plastic tweezers! plastic spudger for removing connectors not your fingernail, keep your screws in a safe place away from the work zone and not rolling around under the phone! PCB tape over the lenses when they're exposed. Breaking the security seal for no reason before testing the new screen.. I'll not go on. Don't work on your phone like this.

What did u spray to removed the glue from the battery
Suggestion for getting screws out. I've tried the standard head and various other sizes but the loctite won't break. I've tried the rubber band and glue but the screws aren't stripper just won't come loose from the loctite. I've got 7 of the 18 out. They just won't budge.

Hi, I did get it from my local wholesale! Did not find the item on Amazon UK market. But you May try on eBay UK. Please don't get the copy replacement as it would not work correctly and waste of money. Buy the genuine replacement part. Thanks

Where did you buy it? I saw screens on Ali-express, but I'm reluctant to buy it. If I get it cheap, here where I live I pay about 15$ for fixing my phone.... but the hardware is double of that in Ali-express. The repairshop said that if I have the parts, he would fix my phone for that amount.... I'm so pissed. I bought it used for less than half the price of a new one, but fixing it cost half the price of what I paid.... for that money I can buy a reasonable phone from Oppo or Xiaomi.... I'm using it at the moment with Dex on my laptop, and will have to use my old Note 4 when I'm leaving the house....

I bought a new screen panel with frame and followed step-by-step.
I thought everything went smoothly and accurately but when I was done my phone would vibrate when I tried to turn it on by pressing the down volume and on-off buttons at the same time, but the screen remained black.
I disassembled everything and as I took it all apart everything seemed to be done properly. Then I followed step-by-step again reassembling everything. Again, I have just a black screen. It doesn't light up even though I can hear it click and vibrate as if it is going to start.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I went wrong and / or how I can fix it? All serious responses will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
