I'm always impressed by the talent. I'm also always kinda weirded out by the costumes and dancing. Maybe it's the era I grew up in. It's OK to admit maybe I'm getting too old and the dancing and tights aren't for me. However, I do have to ask one thing.... Does every WGI show have to start off with a recorded vocal track from some dude singing? Can we petition to stop that? 🤷♂️ One last thing.... one thing I really do appreciate is how many bad ass female drummers there are these days. That girl on snares is killing it. Respect.
@THEnelsonbruhs yeah I appreciate what’s going on in the activity, I just want to understand what I’m looking at. I feel like we may have a group or 2 similar in that category. (Not saying RCC is one them :)) )
So clean, yet what happened to the musicality of the show. "Listen " was a more original show the year Rcc won. This is feeling more like Rythm X and it doesn't mesh well and it just feels off.
Sean Vega is no longer with RCC so yes it does feel different then the past, this is a Tony Nuñez show. It definitely still has that RCC vibe to it in my opinion but I get what you’re saying about it being different than past years. (Especially 18, best show ever)
Congrats to the quads and the ensemble as a whole for cleaning up so well!
Yo that tenor solo with the gongs on drum 2 is litttttt lol sheeeeesh 🔥🔥🔥

Sweet drum 4 cam!

Yeah, you don't get quadlines like this every year
is this supposed to be a reboot of 2009 because that opener is eerily similar
system blue snares but not system blue tenors ;((

Still feels very RCC to me. Reminds a A LOT of 09 Totem.
