Happy Chuseok babies!!! It's also Friday the 13th here in the states :O (ironically, my lucky day♡) hehehe. I decided to wrap up our Chuseok with EXO's Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony at PyeongChang 2018!!! And of course, I had to show my mom. Many of you requested me to watch this one with her and as always, yall never disappoint. I could tell she was really into the beginning where Kai danced in his hanbok to the Korean traditional beats which was SOOO cool and so so so so beautiful. He legit moved to EVERY.BEAT.OF.THE.DRUM.WITH.SUCH.CLASS.AND.ELEGANCE.AND.WHAT.A.FINE.PIECE.OF.MAN.HE.IS.LIKE.HOLY.COW.WOW.IMPRESSIVE.PERFECTION.BALLERINO.ROBOT.DANCER.ADKJHSD. UGHHH! ugh *sigh* that's art. I loved it so much. I feel so proud of all of them for performing at such a HUGE special world event. It made my mom really proud and it makes ME even more proud now that I know who they are today! They deserved all the recognition and I'm super happy for them. Love u all so much. I think everyone was surprised that they chose to perform Power, but I always suspected SM thought Power was going to be the huge hit from that comeback (that mv had to be expensive) - it totally caught SM by surprise that Kokobop ended up being the big hit.
kai actually suffered a heel injury during this performance, so he was in pain but he was so happy after this performance. he got all giggly, it was cute.

kai mentioned in one of their interviews when he was asked what he was thinking/feeling when this performance happened and he answered that he wasn't really thinking/ couldnt think of anything except to finish it fast bc it was REALLY COLD at that time 😂 and all of the members agree that they were all freezing when they performed but it still looked amazing uwu aksmammama
Imagine this was the day Kai has ankle injury. He stayed the night dancing for his Levi's commercial at the top of the building. He bare the pain and if you'll see the fancam after their performance, Jongin's really happy and relieved. EXO's Olympics performance trended for days. They were dubbed as the Nation's Pick. This was an amazing and symbolic performance.
What makes us prouder about Kai is that during the performance in Winter Olympics his legs was kinda in the state of recovery from injury if im not mistaken, but he still gave his best.. SUCH A PRO!! btw YOU AND YOUR MOM look so pretty in hanbok :)

Kai was full on adrenaline rush that night. He had an injury, the temperature literally was freezing cold. He said his chest hurt a bit trying to breathe because of how cold it was. They were also freezing because of the normal layer clothing.
