Miss Mary, I bought the ‘Blooming Effects’ moisturizer. It is fabulous. My face feels hydrated all day!!!! Thank you so much!!! I love your channel! Dot
You were sent Augustinus Bader? Im so jealous. Im going to ask my family, kids, husband to go in together for Christmas. I only had a tiny sample and loved it. For me the Armani crema nera supreme reviving cream is close and I got a great deal on it at Neiman Marcus.
Ooh I haven't heard of the Armani...but the LAST thing I need is another luxury cream obsession 🤣 Yes, I got lucky....I did a video a few years ago on the Rich Cream and they sent me some for usage of the video in advertising 🕺
Hi Mary, I have a question about the K18. I've heard you have to have "the right" hair type to use these bond building products. How can you tell if you do? They say your hair will snap off if you have the wrong hair type. Help 🤷♀️ Is there a certain ingredient in the serum you use with your LED mask? I'm wondering if I perhaps have it in another product. If I add a special LED product, I may have to go ahead and start my own channel. 😅 P.S. I caved. Yesterday I finally checked out at Nordstroms. This is only a couple days after I ordered the tulip nectar stuff. It's gotten to the point that I'm afraid to watch your videos. We just have very similar tastes. I think we'd be friends irl. I'm willing to relocate. I've always wanted to explore my heritage. 😂
Hmmm, I hadn't heard that about K18 and the right hair type. I do believe it's best for those with damaged hair. I colour my hair and now that menopause has done a number on it so I'm definitely the 'right' camp. If you have lovely, healthy hair you mightn't need it anyway. As for the LED serum, it uses green rooibos tea, which I don't think anyone else is using. I did a video with the founder all about it if you want to check it out: ua-cam.com/video/WwFnSkWUicc/v-deo.html Yes, definitely start that channel 🤣 And you DEFINITELY have to visit!! We can geek out on skincare all around Dublin!
It’s HONKIN’ I freaking LOVE it🤣 The Tatcha dewy skin cream didn’t do anything for me. In fact, I don’t like any of their creams I’ve tried. The lip mask is decent and I like their liquid silk canvas as a primer in the rare instances I wear makeup
Trinny is in Ireland! Would love to see if you like the skincare! I have tried overnight sensation but would love to see what you think. I purchased the Allies of Skin vitamin c because it has a higher percentage of c than Trinny-thank you for the videos!
Great video! .I've got a question about misting. I read this, and saw a video by Dr. Idriss that says to be careful. "If you don’t stack a serum and moisturizer on top of your mist, it simply evaporates into the air; in fact, the dry air will pull the mist and any retained water away from your face, leaving your skin drier than before. Misting your skin may hydrate it momentarily, but the beneficial ingredients will be wasted if not bound to the skin with a thicker serum and moisturizer. I've got the D'alba spray mist, which has oil in it. I love it but I don't know if it's actually adding moisture to my skin.
I think you're probably right. I do essences early in my routine and serums and moisturisers after, for maximum effect. The misting I do during the day is more about immediate relief. I'm not generally trying to get the ingredient benefits as much as a quick quench. My skin gets pretty tight during the day and I don't want to add skincare on top of makeup so mists fit the bill.
I really like the Evy spf too but also struggle with ensuring it get the amount right. I'm going to work out the volume of a golf ball (40.68cm³ according to Google) and find something that is the same volume I can use as a measurement tool. Might get luck and find the lid isnt too far off in which case I'd just need to squirt the lid full of mouse and then use that for application
@@SkinObsessedMary so i googled the volume of a golf ball and it comes to 40.68cm³ I then used a volume calculator online to work out the the volume of the rough volume of the Evy lid which is 30.56cm³ so sadly it's just a little too small. Still though it's a potential solution to the problem is a small vessel can be found with the correct volume. It's a shame the company couldn't have actually specifically designed a cap for that use. Now that would have been innovative and nifty.
Have you seen that LED light is more effective if you don’t use it everyday? New research says that there is some serious downsides to using too much. Always trying to stay up on the most recent recommendations 😊 also, have you tried castor oil on the face at night? I’m still trying it but goodness, such soft skin and under eyes. ✨
Yes, I've heard a lot of talk about overdoing it but my understanding is it's more related to the amount of time in 1 sitting than the number of days in the week. I've spoken at length with the Masyama founder (who's an expert in LED) and am confident that my 6x per week (within the recommended time parameters) is safe and benefircial for my skin. Oh I'm DEFINITELY buying some castor oil toot suite. Everyone is saying the same thing!
Hi mary have you tried charlotte tilbury magic cream, not the newer water one but the original. Iv bought 2 travel size as its expensive but its gorgeous. I use at night and the next morning my skin feels lovely xxxx
I tried it ages ago and while I really liked it, I just didn't repurchase. Until recently...I picked up a travel size at the airport. Haven't used yet but will 👍
I've been using the Skeep Patch (but it's super expensive). I did a video if you want to check it out: ua-cam.com/video/1Y8yGQZs28Q/v-deo.html I'm going to do a ZIIP Halo test and review soon. I actually really love the device!
Great Empties Mary. I for sure am going to check out s a few of the products you love as I too have dry, dehydrated skin. Did you decide not to do a video on your top Toners/ Essences? If so, would you please mention a few that are your HOLY GRAILS?
@@SkinObsessedMary yes, Sukoyaka Suhada is my Holy Grail. I am loving Dr. Ceruecle milky tea Essence. I’m going to purchase Rhode Glazed skin one also.
Yeah, that's a good point about the leave and don't rinse out for 4 minutes. However, this is not a product I'll leave in my hair, even with the brittle nature of it. My understanding is that the magic is done within those 4 minutes and you're free to rinse and add conditioner after that time has passed.
Are there other Esse products you tried? Tatcha has great sales on their site and have the moisturizer in a larger value size. And even better during their sales. Not sure if you can get it shipped to Ireland but just an FYI if you need to stock up when you visit the US.
Actually guys seem more willing to do a skincare regimen packaged as “for men”. 86 year old just started men’s Kiehl’s regimen. First time ever skin care effort, 6 months ago. His face looks like a well cared for aged 60 !
I actually love that idea with the black sunscreen for men- I might get it for my husband and hopefully he’ll wear it
If that'll do it, definitely!!

Where (and when) in your routine do you use the Ordinary multi peptide copper serum? Thanks.
I use it in the morning, after cleanse, mist and essence. It's the first serum I put on (if is the thinnest of the serums).
