You are 100% right about spending more for higher quality items, purchasing fewer of them, and wearing them more often. Amen to NO pilling on clothing! I hate hate hate pilling. An inexpensive item with zero pills always looks better than an expensive item with pills. I select my fabrics carefully to avoid pilling and should the dreaded pills appear, I’ll try removing with razor. If that is not successful, out it goes.

I am 5'7&½... with an inseam of 36" and I can't find Jean's long enough. ROPERS were my go to. I like high waisted, but they must be long enough. Help if you know of any great Jean's for me. I'm 61, look late 40s, I am told. I love black Jean's, Ugg Boots, kitten heels, and solid colored loud button up shirt's open with tanks underneath. Claim digger pants or tie up sides. I try other styles but I go back to my normal and always get compliments. I live in rural areas where cities exsist 1hr+ away. I don't get to travel often. But I like seeing if you can keep me up dated.
How about spending a little effort in maintaining your clothes and not just throwing them away? I do wonder who could possibly need that many pairs of jeans?
Clothes are not related that much to the age and trend these times . It is more about your body shape you can rock lots of styles because your body complexion is thin but it is not always the case. What i would suggest is tops a littler longer that the waist like jackets .

I am only 5"4 also. I used to be 5"5 but being in a descendant body that breaks down with arthritis I am now 5"4. I got rid of every pair of my jeans before the Pandemic along with the other face of January as her spirit ran off when the holy spirit showed up in me. Walmart Target have a laundry battery operated tool in their laundry section specifically made for peeling, it has blades inside for peeling clothes.
