I so love this video, and I love my hula ohana even more! When I watch it, I feel the deep power of aloha expressed through mele, hula, and the 'aina itself. Together, three amazing Kumu Hula, Pattye Kealohalani Wright, Puna Dawson, and Sandii Manumele, perpetuate the lineage and the very essence of Aunty Lani Kalama so beautifully. Aunty Lani's spirit lives on forever through them and through those of us who know her only in spirit. I'm so honored to be a part of of this sacred lineage.
