Tim saying the action scenes here are excessive, when the last mainline ff had them somehow racing across ice to escape a submarine, like come on.
Did we watch the same movie? I really enjoy this movie I have watched this movie at least 10 times in my life and enjoy it every time. Maybe it is just you like it when it came out but by today’s standards this movie doesn’t work but for the time it was awesome.
You have to remeber they are looking at a 2003 action movies through the eyes of the new sensitive 2020 "man" they cant take the testosterone overload.
How anyone can hate on this movie is beyond me. Did we need a fourth act to invade Cuba? Hell yes we did!!
P GS It’s such a fun movie. It’s not a high piece of cinema but it’s better than any of the fast and the furious franchise. The Reggie scene went way over their head.

Pretty bad take after we had to hear about how great the Fast and Furious movies were.
Right??? FF Movies are at best okay. I don't understand why KF decided to review this series tbh. Aside from Nick they are not the demographic for it and it really shows. I'll admit these movies arent great or anything but they are a lot better than KF says.
How they felt about Bad Boys is the way I feel about Fast and Furious. Those movies are so insanely boring and way too long for me. Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez have no charisma at all. But Bad Boys is just dumb fun from start to end.
Honestly, I look at F&F and Bad Boys the same way. They're both dumb fun, and know exactly what they are. No more, no less. And both franchises are better off for it. I love them both.
Except Bad Boys are real and about the character development.

Jabez Ward A masterpiece? I’d say no, not in my opinion. But it’s up there with the best the genre has to offer. It’s not clever, it’s loud and brash, over the top, and “woke” people would call it “problematic” in this day and age, but goddamn do I think it’s fun.

This movie isn’t a brilliant movie but it’s far better than any of the fast and furious franchise. Also the runtime of Bad Boys 2 is the same as half the fast and furious franchise. They feel much longer to me.

They sing the song off rhythm because the joke is nobody knows what the hell the rest of the words are. The show cops was popular and people only knew select few words.
In Bad Boys 3 trailer they make the joke that it took them years to learn the words of the song.

If I have to hear them whine about the violence one more damn time....do you guys not understand what these movies are? Nick and Kevin, miraculously seem to be the only ones that actually understand what kind of movie they are watching. It's not Oscar worthy, it's not the best writing ever... Its a movie of its time. Pure action, pure violence, pure sex! There are at least dozens of movies like this around this time. The violence in this movie is like Mortal Kombat, it's ridiculous so stop crying about it.

I think anyone who says they like this movie just enjoys it for how bad it is. The only great scene is when they threaten Reggie at the front door and it has nothing to do with the rest of the movie lol.

I don’t understand why people complain about the movies runtime , it just 2 and a half hours , it seems like people have short tension spans
It's not like they were adapting a true story and they could have trimmed all the narative fat. The story was of least importance to all involved in the making. It was was an excuse to string together action.
