Running into trouble at the 2:32 mark. My selection is gone when I go back, click on the layer and control - click. Everything is fine til I get to that. Do you know what may be causing my selection to not show up? Because it doesn't show up, I can't delete it to get to the next step. Have tried 5 times without success.
wait... how did it make the pink pattern morph and go into the folds of the blanket and look natural?? I would think if you just filled it with a pattern it would be flat?
I finally got it! But I have a question. Lets say you have two objects in your picture that you would like to turn into a png canva frame. For instance, in the case of showing different views of a phone case, is there a way to create multiple png's on the same picture for canva? If so, can you show how to do it?
I am having trouble when taking the design sometimes over to Canva where my image appears faded. I'm creating phone cases in the manner you show above....Can you tell me what might cause this to happen? When I apply a pattern or color to my image in photoshop, I don't get this fading like I do on Canva. It almost appears like there is a film of some kind over the top of the image I am applying to the product. Hoping you can shed some light on this... Not all of the projects I sent to Canva behave this way, only a few. Is it to do with the shadows or the highlights?
OMG! FINALLY!!!! Someone who is actually showing you how to make a smart object without having to purchase a file from ETSY

The folding effect is due to shadow and highlight overlay. The pattern is actually flat.

Yes it can be done. You need to do one item at a time.
Please tell me which Photoshop version you are using or using plugins in it
I use cc 2024 for this video. But this method will work on any version photoshop, supporting quick mask

Yes, the issue is due to the transparency of the files ( if you see your files over black background, you'll see why it happens
In photoshop 2023, we are not able to find the shadow or highlights button in acction tab..
Please let me know where should i find it?

@@BulkMockup I have bought the action, I have a doubt please check whether the shadow and highlights names are swapped by mistake.
This could happen if you use black-colored tshirt
@@BulkMockup Yes i used in black and white gradient object
didnt work with me shadow in action
Please make sure the element you put in a new layer is of single light color ( more tweaking is required if it has multiple or darker colors)
Worked very well, but the design you import is always faded
Try reducing the opacity
