- Surely not a new kid on the block but still one of the best wireless systems for guitarists in my opinion. And maybe for bass players too! Hey Carsten, great video! I own a Line6 Relay G50 since 1,5 years… used it for the third time in a rehearsal last week… and it stopped working (only red lights on the receiver). Did you experienced that as well with the G30. I tried everything and can’t make it work again… also did you connect it to the Kemper with the “main out” or the “tuner / aux out”? Greetings, Kenny
Thank you very much! ✌ Have you tried turning it on and off again? 😅 Just kidding bro. For real though, have you tried changing the batteries? Just get them out and put them back in again. Had this problem like 1500 times. 😅🙈 When playing wireless I'm using the alternative Input on the back of the KPA and with a cable I use the regular front Input. Hope that helps! ✌
@@schorschharrison haha, yes also tried different batteries. The tranmitter gives full power en audio signal, but the receiver won’t receive the signal :-(
On the Kemper Stage there is no alternative input unfortunately… and it worked in the past, so should not be the cause. Curious to see if Line6 support can help. Thanks mate!

Change it from RF2 to RF1. It will work fine. I think the G series line six are shipped set to RF2.
I bad my receiver on G30 went into same red blinking mode.
I think it died, i could not make it work. Sold the unit as damaged

I'm still using G-30 Since day one I put it in a wireless pouch No issues whatsoever In fact I bought 2 more transfers For a total of 3 I just need the one transmitter they're compatible So changing guitars in between tuning is a breeze
I'm glad everything is fine with your belt pack. But buying a new one for 100 Euro when the whole unit is available for 180 Euro didn't make sense to me. As I only have one body pack that is taped to my strap I'm changing guitars by switching the strap.😅✌ You are definitely more on the pro side here. 🙌
anyone know WHY Shure stopped making this?? I looked on their website and they don't even offer a wireless guitar system now

They do make them. Actually they updated it, it's now called GLXD16+ and it runs on both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz
The Shure GLXD16 is no longer being manufactured. 😕
