- Ya'll requested to see the ladies go on a 250 Peso shopping challenge. The ladies hustled me until I gave in to double that amount. Watch Fatima, Kalamansi, and Maria spend $8.49 USD (EACH) at our downtown mall. I even splurged and gave them enough money to take the trike instead of having to walk. Why? Because I'm just a good Cano.

stick of gum will make kids smile, a candy bar, an old t-shirt or hat ok for the boys and a purse will make the girls super happy. You won't get an American
to appreciate a simple gift as that, even getting a please or thank you out of the younger generation is almost impossible.

Amazing resilience. I took my wife phone shopping last month (her life ended when her's broke!@#$), limitless budget.....I was looking at the quality brands, she appeared with a cheaper one....Can't fault her approach. When questioned, she replied, I chose that one because my friend has this model....lol...No idea of quality, life expectancy etc. We will be shopping again before Xmas.

It does appear that the experience is more fun than the budget..... For me, I love the challenge of saving even pennies and nickles.
Mine lived in America over 20 years and has a better pension than me, but still tries to get my pesos. They all say it was only x amount because I got a discount by buying 2 acting like they're saving money too.
When Western Governments Corporations looked to the East for cheaper wages and production costs , everything was dandy while local businesses couldn't compete due to wages and electricity costs. The same happened in Australia. But then , people complain about it. Look to your Corporate Controlled Governments. I hope my comment doesn't disappear.

What Fatima n Calimansi don't understand. Your not charging them to pay half of anything. Example, here in America, the middle class and lower are splitting the bills to survive. Half and half, and with kids their probably penny pinching and struggling to make ends meet. So Fatima n Calimansi are lucky they don't have to come up with their half of funds.
