very good, this is one of my favorite kata.
It is a really beautiful and fun kata to practice!
My favorite kata period! I do it slightly different. I do the variation where down the line low block to forward punch, then other way inside block to forward punch, then going back high block to forward punch, I love the sankaku tobi at the end "triple strike jump" knee strike, forearm strike, and knife hand, all in the air...rolled in 1. This kata embodies the concept of Meikyo Shisui i.e serene state of mind(Domon Kasshu’s super mode from G Gundam anime). So full of calmness.

which shotokan kata would you recommend to perform in an international tournament? Meikyo is nice but I also like kata gankaku....whats your opinion on this?
I would choose Gankaku it is more recognized as a competition kata
