As far as being water resistant, Would you say it can be left out side all the time as patio furniture and will it sustain the rain?

Totally. You can. My advice? I wouldn't. Mostly because if it get caught in the rain and then sun and then rain and then sun, it can deteriorate a little. You can, but I wouldn't suggest you to do that. Hope that helps!
