Looks great, man.. I did this to my suzuki Sidekick a couple of years ago.. then fit and cut and fit and cut.. and then 4500 tacks takes forrrrrever. You done awesome. They do make a body seam sealer. I used to cover the seams and small pin holes..
Thanks Sir! Yea it was a looooong process. I am going to finish all the floor repairs then seam seal at the very end. I just wanna drive the car again lol
Wow thanks so much for this video. I'm about to tackle this same project and seeing someone else walk through it makes it seem much more manageable! Did you purchase the listing from Valcas titled E30 front corners FULL repair kit? Looks like the only way to get that outer piece is to buy the full kit
I’ve got to do about the same repair on my E30. The battery tray is rotted out, part of the firewall, RF floor pan, and patch both rear pans. Driver pan is fine and i can’t find any other rot on the car. Almost bought the floor pan set like you but ended up finding a parts car that I’m gonna cut from. I’ll have a video on my channel as well - feel free to check it out
@@zackellis23definitely! Was kinda gutted at the unexpected rot being its a southern car. Guess I’ll get to learn my new welder! Plan is to m54b30 swap it. Maybe make it my auto-x car tho my 330ci will get jealous.
@@robsweekendgarage mine came from New Hampshire so I knew it was coming. BUT an E30 is a great auto X car. I currently use my SRT4 for track days and autoX. I was positive my e30 was going to be a fun “drive to work” car but once I carved a few back roads…. I think I have to autoX this car lol.
I got them from Valcas garage. I paid like $800 for front floor pans, rear floor pans, both jack points and the front fender bottom portion. I ordered them and received them 3 days later.
@@alexcardin6642 I’d 100% recommend them. They fit great. Also I just posted a video of the driver side. Not that it will help you but might not hurt to see. Good luck with it
What a champion! Every E30 needs this done and you pretty much documented the whole process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
I really appreciate the authentic appreciation!
Thank you for showing us this. Now I’m less scared to tackle the repair on my car.
For sure! Thanks for watching. I’d say as long as your take your time, this is a pretty straight forward job
Really glad you're fixing it man. Keep pushing.
Thank you Sir! I have a long way to go but well get there!
Coming along great dude!
Thanks brother! I have a long way to go haha

@@zackellis23 ok great! Il check them out! Im about to do the same to my friends e30m3 than mine.. they share a lot of structural components!
